What is Blackjack Party?
Blackjack Party is Evolution’s social version of live blackjack. Instead of introducing multipliers or bonus rounds, the game focuses on creating a more relaxed atmosphere with friendly dealers, colourful surroundings, and a slightly slower pace than most traditional blackjack tables.
Although the presentation feels different, the gameplay remains familiar. Blackjack Party follows the same core rules as Evolution’s standard Live Blackjack, making it easy for experienced blackjack players to jump straight in while remaining accessible to newcomers.
The game also includes optional features such as Perfect Pairs, 21+3, Bet Behind, and Cash Out, giving players more flexibility without changing the traditional nature of blackjack. As a result, Blackjack Party feels less like a new blackjack variant and more like an alternative environment for enjoying one of the casino’s most popular table games.
How to Play Blackjack Party
Take a Seat

Click or tap the Sit Here icon above any of the seven seats, provided they are vacant. You might have to wait around a bit since Party Blackjack is a very popular game. The Bet Behind option is available while you wait.
Place the Bet

Choose the size of your bet by placing chips on the table. The bets range from $5 to $500, and that includes main as well as side bets (except the Bet Behind). You’ll have 14 seconds between rounds to decide.
Receive the Cards

Once the betting window expires, the dealer hands two face-up cards to each player on the table and one face-up card to themselves. The last card they pull is the dealer’s second card, which is dealt face down.
Take Action

After the cards are dealt, you’ll have to make a decision whether to hit, stand, split, or double down. The game is noticeably slower than the likes of Lightning Blackjack by the same provider, and you’ll have plenty of time to make your move.
Collect the Reward

If you win, you will be paid according to the paytable. There is also a Cash Out option available before the reveal of the dealer’s second card, and the payout depends on your pair and the dealer’s upcard.
“Blackjack Party is one of the most relaxed live blackjack games I’ve played, thanks to the slower pace and genuinely social atmosphere.
My advice is to focus mainly on the base game and treat the side bets as occasional extras rather than your main strategy.”
Paytable & RTP
The paytable in Blackjack Party follows the standard values for 3:2 blackjack:
- Standard win pays 1:1
- Blackjack pays 3:2
The early Cash Out option is also there and pays 0.4-1.77x. The ratio is calculated separately in each round and depends on how your score compares to the dealer’s upcard. The Cash Out applies only to main bets.
Side bets are a different story. The Insurance Bet against the dealer’s blackjack pays 2:1, while the payouts for Perfect Pairs and 21+3 are as follows:
| Perfect Pairs Hand | Payout |
| Perfect Pair | 25:1 |
| Colored Pair | 12:1 |
| Mixed Pair | 6:1 |
| 21+3 Hand | Payout |
| Suited Trips | 100:1 |
| Straight Flush | 40:1 |
| Three of a Kind | 30:1 |
| Straight | 10:1 |
| Flush | 5:1 |
The RTP in Blackjack Party is dynamic and depends on the bet you place. The regular game is by far the most profitable with an RTP of 99.29%. The 21+3 side bet clocks at 96.30%, while Perfect Pairs is the worst of the bunch at 95.90%.
Tip: The RTP difference between standard and side is about 3%. That is not small, and you’d better stick with the main game.
Side Bets in Blackjack Party
Evolution’s Blackjack Party features a standard range of side bets that mix things up. They include Perfect Pairs, 21+3, Bet Behind, and Insurance bet.
Perfect Pairs
Perfect Pairs lets you win if your initial two cards make up a pair. It can be any pair, numbers, or symbols alike, but they pay out differently. There are three types of pairs:
- Perfect: Pairs of the same suit
- Colored: Pairs of the same color but different suits
- Mixed: Pairs of different colors and different suits
The RTP across all Perfect Pair options is 95.90%.
21+3
The 21+3 lets you win if your two cards form a hand together with the dealer’s upcard. There are five combinations in total:
- Suited Trips: Three identical cards
- Straight Flush: Cards of the same suit and in numerical sequence
- Three of a Kind: Cards of the same value but different suits
- Straight: Cards in numerical sequence but different suits
- Flush: Three cards of the same suit, irrespective of sequence
The average RTP for all 21+3 side bets is 96.30%.
Note: The Suited Trips hand in 21+3 side bet has a 100:1 payout, by far the biggest in the game.
Insurance
If the dealer’s first card turns out to be an Ace, you’ll be presented with an opportunity to ensure against the dealer getting a blackjack. The Insurance bet equals half of your main bet (eg, $5 if your main bet is $10) and is resolved separately.
Bet Behind
Available regardless of whether you are at the table or waiting in the lobby, the Bet Behind lets you bet on other players’ hands. A helping hand here is the tiny number below the nicknames, indicating the winning streak of each player on the table.
Equally, the bet size is smaller with Bet Behind, ranging between $0.50 and $250.
Strategy
Blackjack Party is classic 3:2 blackjack at its heart, so your best friend here is still the basic strategy. Hit, Stand, Double Down, or Split at the right times, and you’ll keep the house edge in check.
And then there are side bets. Perfect Pairs, 21+3, and Insurance are more like the confetti at this party. Flashy, yes; fun, certainly; But they are not exactly your ticket to big wins. Their RTPs are (much) lower than the main game, which is why you’d better use them sparingly. Every 5th round or so, or after a decent streak, is a good shout.
The Bet Behind option is the only one worth considering. The “hot” indicator is a nice little touch that can help (or hinder) your chances should you go down this path. I myself was lucky, but don’t expect to become a side-bet millionaire.
One final piece of advice is to take your time. Unlike the turbo pace of Lightning Blackjack, Blackjack Party lets you breathe. Sip that virtual cocktail, watch the dealers banter, and make your moves with care.
Blackjack Party vs Other Live Casino Blackjack
Compared to other live blackjack titles from Evolution’s ever-growing lineup, Blackjack Party plays a very different tune. Let’s see how it stacks up against other heavy-hitters.
Blackjack Party vs Lightning Blackjack
Blackjack Party and Lightning Blackjack share a studio, but their overall sentiments couldn’t be more different. Party is about relaxed, social fun with seven seats, friendly banter, and a slower pace that lets you think through your moves.
Lightning Blackjack, with its mandatory Lightning fees and random multipliers instead of side bets, is adrenaline-fueled action with faster gameplay but a much lower minimum bet size. Choosing between the two is a pick your avatar type dilemma.
Blackjack Party vs Immersive Blackjack
Immersive Blackjack is Evolution’s cinematic take on classic blackjack, with multiple camera angles and immersive dealer interactions. Compared to Party, Immersive feels more polished and slightly more, quote-unquote, serious, while Party retains its casual, welcoming party vibe.
The social energy in Party, such as watching streaks on the Bet Behind feature or chatting with lighthearted dealers, is something that Immersive doesn’t do as much.
Look & Feel
Blackjack Party is exactly what it says. The table is lively with seven seats, a bright, approachable UI, and dealers who genuinely seem to enjoy themselves. Gone are the over-the-top antics of the early versions, but the game still keeps a chill, social vibe, with dealers who are more chatty rather than run-of-the-mill.
On screen, everything is crystal clear. Your chips, side bets, and even a little streak indicator if you’re Bet Behind, other players. The tiny party decorations are a nice touch, but I can’t help but feel that the screens behind the dealer could have been used better. Particularly the left one, urging you to “Bet Behind Now!”
This tiny rant aside, the game is a joy to watch play out.
“I’m a little sad to see Evolution rolling back the early decision of having two dealers. It just gave the game more of that party vibe.
Still, even by themselves, the dealers are a chatty bunch.”

What’s My Opinion on Blackjack Party?
I’ve always enjoyed blackjack because it’s one of the few casino games where strategy actually matters, and Blackjack Party makes the online experience feel a lot more entertaining thanks to the lively and chatty dealers. The relaxed atmosphere gives the game more personality compared to standard live blackjack tables, which is exactly why I keep coming back to it.
What I personally like most is that the game still sticks to classic blackjack fundamentals. I try to follow basic blackjack strategy as closely as possible to keep the RTP high, and I usually avoid the side bets since they come with a much bigger house edge. For me, Blackjack Party works best as a straightforward, social blackjack experience rather than a high-risk side-bet game.
Overall, Blackjack Party is perfect if you want a relaxed, approachable, and social blackjack action. Just don’t expect it to blow the roof off with high volatility. This particular party is fun and consistent, just like that old friend of yours.
This game is suited for:
- People who prefer light, relaxing live games
- Traditional blackjack fans who prefer standard 3:2 blackjack rules and a high RTP of 99.29%
- Low-to-medium stakes players looking for a classic blackjack experience without complicated bonus mechanics
