At the moment, Game Night is not available in online casinos for real money. Evolution has not announced an official release date yet. Based on what we know so far, we expect the game to become available around February 2026.

How Does Game Night Work?

Game Night works in a similar way to other live casino wheel games from Evolution, such as Crazy Time and Funky Time.

In the center of the studio, there is a large Wheel of Fortune. The wheel contains numbers and several bonus games. Players can place bets on the numbers or on the bonus games. If the wheel lands on a number you bet on, it multiplies your stake by that number.

The numbers on the wheel are 1, 2, and 5. If the wheel lands on a bonus game and you placed a bet on it, you enter the bonus round. If you did not place a bet on that bonus game, you can still watch it live. The bonus games are played in real time and guided by a show host. One important detail is that the Game Night wheel does not use a flapper at the top to decide the winning segment. Instead, a ball bounces around in the center of the wheel and eventually lands in a segment at the bottom. Personally, I am very curious to see how this changes the tension of the game. With a flapper, you could often estimate where the wheel would stop. With a ball, this feels much less predictable.

Another difference compared to many other live game shows is the layout of the wheel. Game Night features a bonus game, bringing the total to five. In return, there are only three numbers on the wheel instead of four: 1, 2, and 5.

Out of the 54 segments on the wheel, 12 are bonus games. This means the game triggers a bonus round on average once every 4 to 5 spins.

Bonus Games Explained

In the intro video of Game Night at the Barcelona expo (you can find it below), we see five friends enjoying a game night together. Four of them each bring a different iconic board game: Battleship, Snakes & Ladders, Hungry Hungry Hippos, and Connect 4. They can not decide which of the games to play.

The fifth friend suggests using Rock, Paper, Scissors to make a choice, but even that does not produce a clear winner. That is where Game Night comes in. The game combines all these classic games into one live casino experience. Personally, I really like how Evolution created a story around the game. It fits the theme perfectly and makes the whole concept feel complete.

A big advantage of Game Night is that the bonus games are based on well-known board games. If you already know these games, the bonus rounds are very easy to understand, even for players who are new to the live casino. Another clear advantage is the feeling of nostalgia. This nostalgic touch is what really makes Game Night stand out from other live casino games.

Rock, Paper, Scissors

Rock, Paper, Scissors appears four times on the wheel. This means it will be the most common bonus game in Game Night. Because of this, the winning potential is expected to be lower than in the other bonus rounds.
