Quick Summary

  • Money Time is Pragmatic Play’s 54-segment live money-wheel game, with eight betting options: the numbers 1, 2, 5, and 10, plus four different bonus games.
  • Cash Roll, Coin Rush, Bank Heist, and Money Time all use different mechanics, ranging from a physical die and briefcases to coin picks, bingo-ball draws, and multiplier respins.
  • Before each spin, the Bet Spot Booster can randomly boost selected bets by 2x to 50x, adding extra win potential even before the wheel stops.
  • Big wins can reach 40,000x, including the Bet Spot Booster. Bank Heist has the highest potential, while the other bonuses can also produce four- and five-figure multipliers.
  • The optimal RTP is 96.56%, while the four documented bonus RTPs are remarkably consistent at 96.55%–96.56%. This is an excellent spread compared with many other live game shows.
  • Our expert view: Money Time is one of Pragmatic Play’s most ambitious live game shows. The basic money-wheel concept is familiar, but four genuinely different bonuses, frequent boosters and an impressive physical studio give it excellent depth. We particularly like the amount of real live action used alongside the digital effects.

How We Scored This Game

9.3/10
10.0

Optimal RTP (fact-based)

Money Time has an optimal RTP of 96.56%, which is excellent for a live casino game show. Several bets can reach this return, including the number 2 and 5 bets, while Bank Heist and Money Time can also reach 96.56% depending on the game configuration.

10.0

RTP across all bet options (fact-based)

Money Time has remarkably consistent RTPs across its betting options. Returns range from 96.25% to 96.56%, with the number bets and Cash Roll all between 96.55% and 96.56%. The lowest possible return is 96.25% for Coin Rush, while Bank Heist and Money Time can also vary slightly between configurations.

A maximum difference of just 0.31 percentage points is very small. This is exactly what we like to see: players can choose between numbers and bonus games without unknowingly moving to a bet with a much larger house edge.

8.8

Max win and big prizes in practice (expert judgement)

Money Time has exceptional big-win potential, with a theoretical maximum of 40,000x. The four bonus games can reach 5,000x in Cash Roll, 25,000x in Coin Rush, 29,000x in Money Time and 40,000x in Bank Heist when the Bet Spot Booster is included.

Large wins also occur in practice. Tracked results include Money Time rounds of 2,500x and 5,000x+, showing that four-figure multipliers are not purely theoretical. The extreme 25,000x–40,000x outcomes remain much rarer, but there are several realistic routes to 500x and 1,000x+ wins.

9.1

Pace and depth (expert judgement).

Money Time has excellent depth for a money-wheel game. Players can choose between four number bets (1, 2, 5 and 10) and four very different bonus games, while random Bet Spot Boosters of up to 50x add extra interest to every spin. The main wheel keeps the game moving, although the more elaborate bonus rounds naturally slow the pace when triggered.

The real strength is the variety. Cash Roll uses a physical die and briefcases, Coin Rush lets you select from 64 coins, Bank Heist uses bingo-ball draws and 16 deposit boxes, while Money Time combines colour choices, multipliers and up to three respins. This gives players considerably more to interact with than in a basic wheel game and helps longer sessions stay varied.

9.6

Bonus rounds and features (expert judgement)

Bonus games are the biggest strength of Money Time. Cash Roll, Coin Rush, Bank Heist and Money Time all use genuinely different mechanics, rather than repeating the same bonus in another form. Cash Roll uses a physical die and six briefcases, Coin Rush lets players choose from 64 hidden coins, Bank Heist opens deposit boxes through bingo-ball draws, and Money Time uses three colours, multipliers and up to three respins.

The random Bet Spot Booster adds another layer to every wheel spin, with boosts of up to 50x. Individual bonus games also have their own boosters, creating plenty of tension and serious win potential.

8.2

Originality (expert judgement)

Money Time is not completely original. The 54-segment money wheel, number bets, multiple bonus games and random Bet Spot Boosters clearly build on a format already established by games such as Crazy Time. However, Pragmatic Play adds plenty of its own ideas. Cash Roll, Coin Rush, Bank Heist and Money Time all use different mechanics and give the game its own identity.

We therefore see Money Time as a strong evolution of an existing format rather than a genuinely new concept.

9.0

Interface controls (expert judgement)

Money Time has a clean and well-organised interface despite offering eight betting options. Number bets and bonus games are clearly separated, stakes are easy to adjust, and results and active Bet Spot Boosters are prominently displayed. Recent results and game information are easy to access without taking attention away from the wheel.

8.5

How well the game explains itself (expert judgement)

Money Time does a good job of explaining a relatively complex game. The main wheel is immediately understandable, while multipliers, boosters and bonus results are clearly shown on screen. The four bonus games use very different mechanics, so new players need some time to understand every feature, but it rarely becomes unclear why a bet won or lost.

8.7

Playing on mobile (expert judgement)

Money Time works very well on mobile and keeps the same core gameplay and bonus features as the desktop version. Betting remains straightforward and the wheel and results are easy to follow. The only drawback is the amount of information on screen: eight bets, boosters, multipliers and elaborate bonus games naturally feel more crowded on a smartphone.

9.0

Technical delays (fact-based)

Money Time has a technically complex setup, combining a physical wheel with live and digital elements across four different bonus games. So far, we have found no evidence of recurring technical problems that seriously affect gameplay. Across our test sessions, we recorded no technical delays. Wheel recognition worked correctly, while transitions into the four bonus games were generally smooth.

9.2

Dealers (expert judgement)

Money Time’s hosts fit the energetic game-show format very well. They keep the wheel rounds moving, explain boosters and bonus transitions clearly, and interact with players without slowing the game too much. This is especially important in Money Time because the four bonus games have different mechanics and sometimes require more explanation than the main wheel.

9.5

Studio (expert judgement)

Money Time has one of Pragmatic Play’s most ambitious live studios. The huge 54-segment wheel forms the centrepiece, surrounded by a colourful futuristic set with strong lighting, large displays and dedicated areas for the bonus games. Camera work keeps the wheel result clear and then moves naturally into each bonus.

We particularly like how much of the action uses real physical elements. Cash Roll uses a physical die, while Bank Heist uses a real ball-drawing machine. Combined with the digital effects and animations, this makes Money Time feel more like a genuine live production than a heavily animated game show.

What Is Money Time?

Money Time is Pragmatic Play’s ambitious entry into the premium live game-show category. Released in 2025, it builds on the money-wheel format the provider previously explored with games such as Mega Wheel and Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, but takes the production to a much larger scale.

The game is set inside a golden bank vault, with the physical studio playing an unusually important role. Rather than relying mainly on animations, Pragmatic Play uses real game-show props throughout the production. The main wheel is physical, Cash Roll uses a huge real die, and Bank Heist features an actual ball-drawing machine.

That combination gives Money Time its own identity. The underlying money-wheel concept is familiar, but the elaborate physical production makes it feel more like a real TV game show than many heavily animated live casino games.

Place Your Bet

Pick a chip and select where you want to bet, on numbers, bonus games or all of them. Just remember that you have 12 seconds to make a decision.

I recommend that you watch a game for a few rounds at least, and take a look around to see all the features before you start playing for real.

Top Slot Multiplier

The Wheel Spins

When the betting time is over, the live host will spin the wheel. Before the wheel stops, an extra two-reel slot spins. The left reel shows segments on the wheel and the right reel shows multipliers up to 50x. When a wheel segment and a multiplier align, this multiplier is added to the wheel segment.

Especially when the top slot multiplier combines with a bonus game, the payout can grow really big.

“Money Time feels like a truly volatile top-tier live game.

It’s packed with bonuses and multipliers”.

Bonus Games Explained

Money Time is an engaging live game show thanks to four unique bonus games. Each is specific in its own way, but they all have one thing in common: big, attractive multipliers.

Cash Roll

In this game, an automated shaker will shake a die, which will determine which briefcase the presenter will open to reveal its contents. There are six golden briefcases, and before the die rolls, these briefcases can get a bonus booster multiplier, ranging from 2x to 10x.

Up to 6 multipliers can land, meaning that in some rounds, all briefcases can have an additional booster. With the help of these boosters, Cash Roll gives you a chance to win up to 5,000x.

Bank Heist

Bank Heist is the game that has the potential to boost your payout up to 40,000x. In this game, bingo balls determine which of 16 deposit boxes the live host will open.

Each of these deposit boxes hides either a multiplier or a bonus booster. If a box with a bonus booster is opened, all multipliers are increased.

Coin Rush

Coin Rush has an 8×8 board with coins that hide multipliers up to 100x. In this round, five boosters will enhance the multiplier values with an extra 5x.

You will pick one of the coins, and if you guess correctly, you may win a maximum multiplier of 25,000x.

Money Time

The Money Time bonus is, in our opinion, the most visually impressive of the four. You will enter a golden vault where you need to choose one of three colours: green, red, or blue.

The host spins the reel, which stops on one of the fields with multipliers. You can also trigger up to 3 respins that can help increase the payout. The maximum win in this game is 29,000x.

Payouts and RTP values

Money Time has an optimal RTP of 96.56%, with individual bets ranging from 96.25% to 96.56%. The four number bets and Cash Roll are particularly consistent at 96.55%–96.56%, while Bank Heist, Coin Rush, and the Money Time bonus can have slightly lower RTP configurations.

Here’s a table showing all bet types and payouts. The number bets pay their face value, and payouts can be boosted by up to 50x with the Top Slot Multiplier.

Game Interface Explained

All game shows developed by Pragmatic Play Live have a similar user interface and features. Minor adjustments exist, of course, but the main elements are all there.

And everything is very user-friendly, of course, meaning you won’t have any problems navigating the interface and understanding all the features there.

When you launch the game, you will see a giant wheel at the centre of the studio and all bet types at the bottom of the screen. The studio’s green backdrop evokes the look of banknotes, and the gilded wheel perfectly suits a game called Money Time.

If you need more details on the game, the help page is in the upper right corner, where you’ll also find other settings and a live chat.

  • Bet Tiles –  It contains all numbers and bonus rounds where you place your stakes.
  • Coins – Select the stake value that suits you.
  • Bet on All – This feature lets you cover all bet spots with your wager.
  • Autoplay – You can automate your gameplay here.
  • Repeat – If you want to repeat the bets from the previous round, click here.
  • Total Bet – The amount of money you’ve wagered.
  • Balance – Follow how much money you have to play.

Money Time is optimised for gaming from the mobile browser or an app, so you can enjoy it on the go whenever you want.

Tips and Strategies for Money Time

No strategy can beat the house edge in Money Time. The wheel result is based on chance, and no betting pattern makes a number or bonus more likely to land. What you can control is your total stake and how much volatility you want to take.

Choose Between Number Bets and Bonus Action

The number bets 1, 2, 5, and 10 offer more frequent hits than the individual bonus games. Betting on bonuses means accepting more losing spins in exchange for much greater win potential.

If you prefer regular results, focus more of your stake on the numbers. If you play Money Time mainly for its big multipliers, the bonus games are where most of that potential is found.

Don’t Assume Every Bonus Has the Same Risk

The four bonuses have very different profiles. Cash Roll appears on four wheel segments and has a maximum win of 5,000x, while Money Time appears only once but can reach 29,000x. Coin Rush and Bank Heist also offer much larger potential payouts.

Choose the bonuses you actually want to play rather than automatically covering all four.

Pay Attention to the Bet Spot Booster

Before each spin, selected bets can receive a 2x–50x Bet Spot Booster. This can make even a normally modest number result much more valuable.

A booster does not make that segment more likely to land, so don’t increase your stake simply because one of your bets has received a large multiplier.

Check the RTP of Your Game

Money Time is unusually consistent in this respect. The in-game information we checked showed RTPs between 96.25% and 96.56%, depending on the bet and configuration.

That is a relatively small difference, so your choice can be based more on volatility and preferred gameplay than on avoiding a particularly poor-value bet.

        Watch Your Total Stake

With eight betting options, it is easy to cover several numbers and bonuses and accidentally wager more than intended. Decide on your maximum total stake per round first, then divide it between your selected bets.

Covering more of the wheel can produce more frequent winning results, but it also increases the amount you wager each round.

          Our Expert Tip

Don’t try to cover everything. Decide whether you want frequent number hits, high-volatility bonus action, or a mixture of both. In our tests, a bonus-only session quickly consumed our bankroll, while another session benefited heavily from a 50x boosted number 1 result. That does not prove one approach is better; it shows how strongly a few high-multiplier outcomes can determine a Money Time session.

          My Playing Sessions

I played two Money Time sessions using different betting approaches to see how they affected the pace, volatility and overall experience. The results below are examples from our own testing and do not prove that one betting pattern is better than another.

          Session 1: Only Bonus Games

In my first session, I focused entirely on the four bonus games. This made every wheel spin exciting because a single bonus could potentially produce a large multiplier, but it also meant that most number results returned nothing.

The bonuses did not land often enough to protect my bankroll, and after around 30 minutes, I had lost my full €50 starting balance. It was an entertaining but clearly high-volatility way to play.

          Session 2: Numbers and Bonuses

For my second session, I spread my bets between the bonus games and numbers 1 and 10. Half of my total stake went on the bonuses, while the other half covered the two number bets.

This session went much better. I hit a 50x Bet Spot Booster on number 1 and also entered several bonus games that produced good payouts. After around one hour, my €100 starting bankroll had increased to €210, a profit of €110.

The result was much stronger than in session one, but it was heavily influenced by the 50x boosted number win and several successful bonuses. It does not mean that spreading bets between numbers and bonuses improves the house edge.

          What Did Our Sessions Show?

Our two sessions produced completely different results. Betting only on bonuses resulted in a €50 loss within 30 minutes, while combining number and bonus bets turned €100 into €210 in the second session.

The difference mainly came from a 50x boosted number 1 win and several successful bonuses, rather than the betting pattern itself. Money Time can therefore produce large swings, especially when you target its bonus games.
