What is One Day Teen Patti?

One Day Teen Patti is an exciting version of Teen Patti, an Asian variant of Three Card Poker. Ezugi is famous for bringing Asian games to life, and the team decided to capitalise on the success of the classic Teen Patti by adding in-play bets popular among sports bettors.

So, what’s different in One Day Teen Patti? First, One Day Teen Patti is not a standard Teen Patti with some additional side bets. Instead of playing against the house, you are betting on whether virtual Player A or Player B will have the best three-card poker hand.

Also, the way you bet is completely different. Just two betting options – Back (win) and Lay (lose) – and dynamic odds that change after each new card deliver a thrilling gaming experience.

Finally, although the winner is determined by a Teen Patti poker hand, you don’t get a payout for the hand value. Instead, you win based on your Win/Lose bet and the odds during the round.

How to Play One Day Teen Patti

Poker Hand Values

You need to know poker hand values to play this game correctly. This is important because it will help you determine the possible outcomes. Here is a brief overview of poker hands.

• High Card – This is the most frequent win in this game. In One Day Teen Patti, Ace is the high card.
• Pair – Two cards with the same number.
• Three of a Kind – Three cards with the same number.
• Straight – Three cards with consecutive numbers (2,3,4).
• Flush – Three cards from the same suit.
• Straight Flush – Three cards in a consecutive order from the same suit.
• Royal Flush – Ace, King, and a Queen with the same suit.  

About the Game

The game uses a standard 52-card deck, and you bet on which hand, Player A or Player B, will win. The game lets you place a stake before the dealer starts showing the cards. This blind bet has the best payout, 1.98. The 0.02 is, of course, the house edge.

The betting continues even when the first card has been placed on the Player A side. Actually, you can bet after each card is revealed, which makes this game truly dynamic. The dynamics are also ensured by odds that change after each new card.

The software calculates the odds based on values in the hand. Still, remember that if you bet when the host starts showing the cards, the odds will never be 1.98. They will only be lower.    

The betting is very flexible. You can wager before the first card is drawn, and after each new card is placed on the table. However, you can wait to see four or five cards before placing a stake. It’s entirely up to you when you’ll click the Back or Lay buttons.

Although the gameplay is not as straightforward as some other games, Ezugi did an excellent job with the interface.   It shows the Player A and Player B sides, the Back and Lay bets, and the odds.

  When you click one of two bets, a board with stake values will appear to the right, allowing you to select the amount and click Place Bet.

  This table, on the left-hand side, shows results from the last 100 rounds.

  Click the three-line icon in the upper right corner to open the page with game details.

One Day Teen Patti Payouts

One Day Teen Patti has an RTP of 98.36%, and its payouts differ from standard Teen Patti. The game features in-play betting with odds that change with each new card. The software automatically calculates which hand has a better chance of winning, which determines the odds. If the hand is more likely to win, it will have lower odds.

Strategy to Play One Day Teen Patti

Since One Day Teen Patti uses poker hands, strategies are helpful when making decisions. This means you must know poker hand values to compare hands and predict what may happen.  

If you’re new to the game, I suggest you stake lower amounts until you fully understand the rules. Test all betting options, including the blind bet you can place before the first card appears on the table. Although it offers the highest winnings, don’t rely on it as the chances of winning are lower.

The best strategy I recommend is to wait and see at least four cards before you pick a wager. You can compare the hands, which can help you make the right choice. However, if Player A receives an Ace, King, or Queen as a first card, you should Back it. If lower cards appear, wait to see what Player B will get.
