Quick Summary

  • Ultimate Roulette is Ezugi’s multiplier version of European Roulette, combining the classic game with random, Extra and Spread Multipliers.
  • Straight Up bets can reach up to 2,000x, while buying Extra Multipliers can increase the RTP to an impressive 97.94%.
  • You can buy up to three Extra Multipliers, while Spread Multipliers can extend a multiplier to neighbouring numbers.
  • The interface works well and includes a Racetrack, although we miss the option to save Favourite Bets.
  • Mobile play is good, but we prefer desktop; the basic-looking studio is the biggest disappointment.
  • Expert View: Ultimate Roulette adds clever features to classic Roulette without making it overly complicated. The strong RTP and Extra Multiplier mechanic impress us more than the presentation, which falls short of the standards set by the best modern live casino games.

How We Scored This Game

8.7/10
10.0

Optimal RTP (fact-based)

Ultimate Roulette has an optimal RTP of 97.94%, exactly in line with traditional single-zero European Roulette. That comfortably clears our 96% threshold for the maximum score.

10.0

RTP across all bet options (fact-based)

The RTP range is remarkably small. Standard Roulette bets return 97.30%, while Straight Up bets range from 96.84% without Extra Multipliers to 97.94% when purchasing all three.

This creates a gap of only 1.10 percentage points between the highest and lowest RTP. There are therefore no particularly weak bets hidden in the game, which is especially impressive for a Roulette variant offering multipliers up to 2,000x.

7.8

Max win and big prizes in practice (expert judgement)

Ultimate Roulette can produce payouts up to 2,000x, which is a substantial improvement over standard Roulette. Regular random multipliers reach 1,000x, while a purchased Extra Multiplier can randomly double and reach 2,000x.

The maximum is attractive, but not exceptional compared with today’s most volatile multiplier Roulette games. We also haven’t yet collected enough first-hand results to judge how often 500x, 1,000x or 2,000x payouts actually appear in practice.

8.3

Pace and depth (expert judgement).

Ultimate Roulette adds considerably more depth to standard Roulette without making the basic game difficult. The decision whether to buy up to three Extra Multipliers gives you something to consider every round, while Spread Multipliers can suddenly increase the number of boosted spots on the board.

The extra multiplier phase slows the game down compared with standard Roulette, but it also gives each round more build-up and suspense.

8.5

Bonus rounds and features (expert judgement)

Ultimate Roulette has no separate Bonus game, but its multiplier system has more depth than most standard multiplier Roulette variants. Random Multipliers, purchasable Extra Multipliers and Spread Multipliers can all affect the same round, creating plenty of additional action around the basic Roulette spin.

8.2

Originality (expert judgement)

Multiplier Roulette itself is no longer original, but Ezugi adds enough of its own ideas to make Ultimate Roulette stand out. In particular, buying additional multipliers and having multipliers spread to neighbouring numbers are clever additions to the familiar format.

8.7

Interface controls (expert judgement)

Ultimate Roulette has a clear and practical betting interface. Besides the standard Roulette betting grid, there is a Racetrack available for placing bets, making it easier to cover wheel sections and neighbouring numbers.

The Extra Multiplier feature is also well integrated. After the random multipliers have been revealed, a pop-up gives you the option to purchase up to three additional multipliers before the round continues.

One feature we do miss is Favourite Bets. With so many possible Roulette combinations, being able to save and repeat a preferred betting pattern would make the interface even more convenient, especially for regular players.

Overall, the interface gives us everything we really need to play comfortably, with Favourite Bets being the main omission.

8.1

How well the game explains itself (expert judgement)

Experienced Roulette players can start immediately, but Ultimate Roulette has more rules to understand than the average multiplier variant. In particular, players should understand that Extra Multipliers cost 10% each and that the normal Straight Up payout is reduced to finance the multiplier feature.

8.3

Playing on mobile (expert judgement)

Ultimate Roulette works well on mobile and we had no real problems placing bets or using the main game features. The interface is responsive and the important controls remain accessible on a smaller screen.

However, Roulette is simply easier to follow on desktop. There are many betting positions on the grid, and Ultimate Roulette adds random multipliers and Extra Multipliers that you also want to keep an eye on. On a smaller screen, this makes the game feel more crowded and requires a little more attention.

Mobile play is perfectly fine, but we personally prefer Ultimate Roulette on desktop, where the betting grid, Racetrack and multiplier information are easier to follow at the same time.

8.8

Technical delays (fact-based)

We experienced no technical delays or other problems during our test sessions. The automated wheel, multiplier reveals and Extra Multiplier feature all worked smoothly.

Our testing period was relatively short, though. Ultimate Roulette runs continuously, so a few trouble-free sessions aren’t enough to conclude that technical issues never occur. Still, what we experienced gives us confidence that the game runs reliably.

8.1

Dealers (expert judgement)

The dealers we watched were professional and handled the game without problems, but they didn’t make a particularly strong impression. The presentation is fine, although we missed some of the energy and polished game-show feeling we see from the best live casino hosts.

We also think the dealer outfits look relatively basic. This doesn’t affect the game itself, but presentation matters in a live casino game, and competitors such as Evolution generally feel more polished in this area.

6.8

Studio (expert judgement)

The studio is one of the weakest parts of Ultimate Roulette. Ezugi promotes the game with a circus-inspired setting, but in practice we found the studio surprisingly basic.

The surroundings look cheap and rather simple, especially compared with the detailed studios used for many modern live casino games. There is little visual depth, and it doesn’t feel as though the studio received the same level of attention as the multiplier mechanics and game interface.

Everything is functional and the game remains easy enough to follow, but visually we expected considerably more from a game called Ultimate Roulette.

What is Ultimate Roulette by Ezugi?

Ultimate Roulette is a live roulette variant from Ezugi played on a single-zero European Roulette wheel with numbers 0–36. The basic rules and traditional inside and outside bets remain familiar, but Straight Up bets come with an additional multiplier mechanic.

After betting closes, one to five numbers are randomly selected for multipliers of up to 1,000x. You then get the opportunity to purchase additional multipliers for numbers that haven’t already received one. Each Extra Multiplier costs 10% of your original total bet.

There is another twist: multipliers can spread to as many as three neighbouring numbers on the betting grid. If the ball lands on a multiplied number you covered with a Straight Up bet, the regular payout is replaced by the applicable multiplier.

The result is still determined exactly as in regular Roulette: where the ball lands decides whether you win. The multiplier features simply change how much a winning Straight Up bet can pay.

Gameplay

The basic gameplay of Ultimate Roulette is the same as regular European roulette. So if you already know how to play, you will feel confident.

Each round starts with players placing their bets on the betting board. You choose your coin value, then place it on the number or section you want to bet on.

So far, so good. But the real excitement comes from the Lucky Numbers.

During our test sessions, the multiplier mechanics worked smoothly and made Straight Up betting considerably more interesting than in standard Roulette. We didn’t experience any technical problems, although we found the presentation and studio much less impressive than the actual game mechanics.

Up to Five Lucky Numbers With Multiplier

In each round, one to five Lucky Numbers are randomly selected. These numbers receive a multiplier, which can be 50x, 100x, 150x, 250x, 500x, 750x, or even 1000x.

These are very strong multiplier values, also when compared to similar games like Lightning Roulette and Nexus Roulette. That makes Ultimate Roulette especially appealing for players looking for big win potential.

There is a tradeoff, though. The payout for straight-up bets without a multiplier is 28 to 1 in Ultimate Roulette. By comparison, Lightning Roulette pays 30 to 1, and Nexus Roulette pays 29 to 1 on non-multiplied straight-up bets.

This setup creates a slightly higher volatility. You might win smaller amounts less frequently when no multiplier hits, but when one does, the rewards can be much bigger.

If you enjoy a more intense and high-risk playstyle with the chance for huge wins, Ultimate Roulette will keep you engaged.

Purchase Extra Lucky Numbers

One of the main features of Ultimate Roulette is the option to buy extra Lucky Numbers. You can buy up to three extra Lucky Numbers per round. This adds a small cost to your bet:

  • 1 extra number costs 10% of your main bet
  • 2 extra numbers cost 20%
  • 3 extra numbers cost 30%

Normally, I am not a fan of having to pay for bonus features. But in this case, it feels worth it. That’s because the purchased Lucky Numbers come with extra powers, which I will explain next.

Doubling and Spreading Multipliers

Purchased Extra Multipliers have a chance to double in value, making the maximum 2,000x possible. Separately, a multiplier can also spread to up to three neighbouring numbers, giving those numbers the same multiplier value.

Both features add a lot of surprise and excitement. It feels great when your bet hits and the multiplier suddenly doubles or spreads to other numbers you covered. It makes every round feel a bit more unpredictable in a good way.

Tips & Strategies for Ultimate Roulette

Ultimate Roulette is still a game of chance, so no strategy can predict where the ball will land. However, choosing the right bets and understanding the Extra Multiplier feature can improve the theoretical RTP and help you control your bankroll.

Use Extra Multipliers for the Highest RTP

If you play Straight Up bets, the RTP actually increases when you buy Extra Multipliers. Without them, the RTP is 96.84%, while buying all three raises it to 97.94%.

These RTP figures are taken from the current in-game rules. Older reviews and game information may show different RTP values for Extra Multipliers.

Keep in mind that each Extra Multiplier costs 10% of your original total bet. Three Extra Multipliers therefore increase the amount you spend per round by 30%.

Choose Between Classic Roulette and Multiplier Play

If multipliers aren’t important to you, traditional bets such as Red/Black, Odd/Even, Dozens and Columns offer a 97.30% RTP. If you want to chase the big multipliers, Straight Up bets are the way to access them.

Keep Straight Up Stakes Small

Covering several individual numbers can quickly increase your total stake, especially when you also buy Extra Multipliers. Decide on a maximum total stake per round rather than focusing only on how much you place on each number.

Don’t Chase Multipliers

A 500x or 1,000x appearing on a number doesn’t make that number more likely to win, and previous results don’t predict the next spin. Avoid increasing your stakes simply because you haven’t hit a multiplier for several rounds.

Our Advice

If you’re playing Ultimate Roulette specifically for its multiplier feature, three Extra Multipliers offer the strongest theoretical RTP at 97.94%. Just remember that the higher RTP comes with a higher total stake per round. There is no betting system that removes Roulette’s house edge.

FAQs

What is the RTP of Ultimate Roulette?

The RTP depends on how you play. Standard Roulette bets have an RTP of 97.30%. Straight Up bets have an RTP of 96.84% without Extra Multipliers, increasing to 97.57% with one, 97.73% with two, and 97.94% with three Extra Multipliers.

What is the maximum win in Ultimate Roulette?

The maximum payout is 2,000x your bet. Regular random multipliers can reach up to 1,000x, while an Extra Multiplier can double it, making a 2,000x payout possible.

How do Extra Multipliers work?

After the regular multipliers are revealed, you can buy up to three additional multipliers. Each one costs 10% of your original total bet. Buying more Extra Multipliers increases the RTP of Straight Up play, but also increases the amount you spend per round.

What are Spread Multipliers?

A multiplier can randomly spread to up to three neighbouring numbers on the betting grid. These additional numbers receive the same multiplier value as the original multiplied number.

Do multipliers apply to all Roulette bets?

No. The multiplier feature is designed for Straight Up bets on individual numbers. Traditional bets such as Red/Black, Odd/Even, Dozens, and Columns retain their normal payouts.

Is Ultimate Roulette better than regular European Roulette?

It depends on what you want. Regular European Roulette is simpler, while Ultimate Roulette adds considerably more big-win potential and extra decisions. Interestingly, its highest theoretical RTP of 97.94% is also higher than the standard 97.30% European Roulette RTP.

Can you use a Roulette strategy in Ultimate Roulette?

You can use betting patterns to organise your stakes, but no Roulette strategy changes where the ball lands or removes the house edge. If RTP is your priority when playing Straight Up bets, purchasing all three Extra Multipliers provides the highest theoretical RTP.
