My Passion for Casinos and Games

I have been visiting casinos for more than 30 years. What started as curiosity became a lasting passion. Over the years I have visited casinos around the world, with more than 25 trips to Las Vegas as a highlight. For me, Las Vegas is the home of casino excitement and new ideas.

My love for games started long before that. I have always enjoyed card games, and the strategy, the tension, and the social side of playing. In 1994 I discovered poker, and it became a big part of my life. For years I played poker tournaments around the world as a recreational player. Two that stand out are the EPT final in Monaco and the Aussie Millions in Melbourne.

Discovering Online and Live Casino Games

Around 2010 I started playing online. I liked the wide choice of games and how easy it was to play from anywhere. Live casino games made that interest stronger. They bring the real casino feeling together with the convenience of playing online. Since then my goal has been to understand how these games work and what makes each one different.

For years I have visited casinos and gaming exhibitions around the world. I do this to stay up to date with what is happening in live casino games. These events are where new ideas are shown and where the next releases take shape.

At these exhibitions I play as many new live casino games as I can. I want to play a game myself before I write about it. This helps me understand how a game works, how it feels to play, and what makes it stand out.

My Visit to ICE Barcelona 2026

In January this year (2026), the biggest European gambling event took place in Barcelona: ICE. It covered everything related to gambling, both online and land-based. At this event, live casino providers showed their newest games.

I saw many previews of upcoming games, and we can expect some great releases this year. The games I’m most excited about are:
