What Is a Live Casino Game Provider?
A live casino provider is the company that makes the live games. The casino does not make them itself. It buys the games from a provider and offers them to its players.
A provider does more than write the software. It builds the studio where the game is filmed. It runs the cameras and the live stream. And it hires and trains the dealers who run the game on screen. So when you play a live roulette or a game show, the provider is behind almost everything you see. The casino is the place where you log in and place your bet.
This is also why you find the same game at more than one casino. A game like Crazy Time is made by Evolution, and Evolution offers it to more than one casino at the same time. The casino around the game is different each time, with its own bonus, payment methods, and other lobbies. The game itself is the same one, from the same provider.
Most live casino lobbies let you filter by provider. Open the live casino, look for the provider filter or the provider logos, and select the one you want. This is how you find the games from a provider you like.
What Makes a Provider a Quality Provider?
Some providers make live games you will enjoy playing, and others do not. So before we add a provider to our list, we check its games ourselves. We look at two things.
The first is simple. Do licensed casinos actually use this provider? A provider whose games run at several licensed casinos has proven itself in the market. One that you find at a single site has not.
The second is how the games play. We open them and see for ourselves. Is the stream stable, or does it freeze halfway through a round? Does the dealer know the game and keep it moving? Is the table easy to read on a small screen, and do the games even work on a phone? These are the things you notice within a minute of playing, and they are the things a good provider gets right. When a provider clears both, it goes on our list.

These are the other providers we know. They are not on our quality list for a few different reasons. Some are used by only a few casinos, some are new, and some make games we have not reviewed. But that does not mean they are bad, and a lot of them make good games too.

Usually not. Live games run with a real dealer at a real table, and that costs the provider money for every round. So unlike online slots, live games rarely have a free demo. At most casinos you need to log in and place a real bet to play. You can often open a live game and watch a round before you bet, but to play along you use real money.
A provider is not on our quality list for one of a few reasons. Its games may run at only a few licensed casinos. The games may not pass our quality check, for example an unstable stream or games that do not work on mobile. Or we have not played enough of its games yet to judge them.
