How We Test and Score Games

We play every game for at least three hours, on desktop and mobile. That is long enough to see the things a quick test misses: how often the bonus rounds come, how the dealers handle the table, and whether the game stays fun.

Playing the game gives us the facts to score it. But if each team member scored on a feeling, no two scores would mean the same thing. So we use the same framework for every game. Every game gets a score in four categories, each with its own weight:

  • Game Math, Payouts, and Fairness: The RTP, how it differs between bet options, and the max win you can really reach.
  • Gameplay and Features: The pace of the game, the bonus features, and how original it is.
  • Interface and Usability: How easy the game is to use, how well it explains itself, and how it plays on mobile.
  • Dealer and Studio: The dealer, the video stream, and the studio.

Want to see exactly how we score each category? Read it on our scoring framework page.

What We Play Ourselves

Below, each team member shares the game they enjoy most. This is personal taste, not a score from our framework. It is a way to get to know the people behind this website.

Geron’s Favourite Game

Header Funky Time Live lc24

Funky Time Live is the game I keep going back to. I like money wheel game shows, and for me Funky Time is the best one. The main reason are the DISCO and VIP DISCO bonus games, where the tension really builds.

Niels’ Favourite Game

Ice Fishing Evolution header livecasino24

My favourite live casino game right now is Ice Fishing by Evolution. The main thing I like is the speed. The rounds are short and the wheel resolves fast, so there is almost no waiting between bets. That fast pace keeps me engaged in a way that slower game shows do not.

I also enjoy how big the prizes can get. The top bonus round can pay up to several thousand times your bet, and chasing that is part of the fun for me. I like the way the wins are revealed too. When a bonus round starts, the host casts a fishing line and reels in a fish, and the size of the fish decides your multiplier. It is a simple idea, but the animation makes each reveal exciting and easy to follow.

I want to be honest about the trade-off. The big prizes come from the bonus bets, and those bets carry higher volatility. You can sit through a long run of small results before a bonus finally hits. I accept that swing as part of the thrill, but it is the reason I always set a clear budget before I play, and I would tell any player to do the same.

Nemanja’s Favourite Game

monopoly live

Many new game shows have a lot of features now, but my favourite game is still MONOPOLY Live. It mixes a popular board game with a live game show, and that combination works really well for me.

Fun fact: a couple of years ago I had a website that was all about Monopoly Live. I played the game at least once a week and tried out different betting strategies to help other players.

Biljana’s Favourite Game

crazy time live casino

My favourite live casino game is, of course, Crazy Time from Evolution. Honestly, it was love at first launch. The reasons aren’t hard to explain: Crazy Time is the most colourful and entertaining live game show that goes way beyond a spinning wheel.

When the red door opens? That’s where the real magic happens.

Live Casinos We Recommend

Besides reviewing games, we also help you find a place to play them. The games we review are live casino games, where you play with a real dealer instead of against software. You play these games in the live casino, which is a part of an online casino. So to join a game, you need to open an account at one.

On LiveCasino24 we list casinos that meet our five standards for live casino play: a valid licence for your country, responsible gambling tools, live games from top providers, a clean reputation, and direct contact options. You can read more about these standards on our recommended live casinos page.

We also want to be open about how we earn money. Most casinos we list are partners, and we earn a commission when you sign up through our link. A casino that does not meet our five standards is never listed, partner or not.

FAQs

Are live casino games safe to play?

Absolutely. The creators of live casino games must have licenses and undergo strict scrutiny. Just make sure you’re playing at a trusted online casino with a valid license. Read our online casino review so you know what to expect beforehand.

What is the most significant difference between RNG games and live casino games?

In RNG games, the game is controlled by an RNG computer. In live casino games, a live dealer leads the game, giving the feeling that you’re sitting at a table in a real casino.

Are there strategies I can use when playing live casino games?

For some games, you can use strategies to play as well as possible. We describe these in our reviews. However, most games are entirely dependent on luck. We also mention this in our reviews.
