Presenting Vikings Multifire and Volcano Roulette by Real Dealer Studios

Roulette is one of the most popular live casino games currently on the market. In fact, it has recently become more in demand as software providers innovate on that familiar gameplay. The latest developer to provide roulette super fans with more of their favourites is Real Dealer Studios.

The company has put forward two exciting games that blend live-action and RNG gameplay into an irresistible package. Join us as we check each release out to see what new things they bring to the table.

Volcano Roulette

If you’re looking to turn up the heat, then Volcano Roulette will be right up your alley. This game continues the trend of multiplier roulette that was started by Lightning Roulette, with a neat new twist. Namely, every spin has a chance to add one or two more balls to the wheel. These balls increase your chances of winning but only take effect for straight-up bets. Any other wagers can only be won with your initial ball.

The multipliers only come into effect after scoring a straight-up bet. The game randomly selects the multiplier, ranging from 0 up to 333x. If you win several straight-up bets, the same multiplier is applied to all of them.

The new additions don’t change the standard roulette RTP, which sits at 97.3%. You can play standard bets or use the racetrack to place French and Neighbour wagers. There is even a statistics page showing the results of the past couple of rounds.

Vikings Multifire

Another exciting addition to Real Dealer Studios’ roulette portfolio is Vikings Multifire. Much like Volcano Roulette, you play on a single-zero roulette wheel, with the end goal being to hit an increased payout. Every round, the game picks five numbers and puts them on stylish Viking shields. Burning arrows then hit two out of five shields, revealing multipliers ranging from 45x to 500x.

Winning the multiplier is only possible using straight-up wagers. Other bets cannot be multiplied, which is why their payouts are not changed from regular European Roulette. However, straight-up wagers have their base payout decreased from 35:1 down to 29:1. This keeps the RTP at the expected 97.3%.

Worth Checking Out?

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with both games. They feel familiar to play but introduce enough new elements to make them worthwhile. This is especially true for Volcano Roulette, which features both multiple balls and multipliers!

However, we were especially impressed by the visuals in both games. Real Dealer Studios knocked it out of the park with some truly jaw-dropping animations that match the theme. Flaming Viking shields and the centre of the roulette wheel being an exploding volcano are cool setpieces. They’d be much more difficult to pull off in a traditional live casino game, which gives you a reason to choose this developer.
