Stakelogic Live Premiers 8-Seat American Blackjack

Nowadays, most new live casino blackjack games opt for limitless tables, where all players receive and bet on the same card. However, players still enjoy live blackjack with separate seats, where each participant gets a different hand.

Stakelogic is catering to the latter crowd with the launch of 8-Seat American Blackjack. The game features eight seats, one more than usual. Will this be enough to win players over? Keep reading to find out.

All About 8-Seat American Blackjack

Surprisingly, there’s not much difference between this game and its 7-seat rivals. Stakelogic wisely decided not to change things up too much to appeal to a broader audience. Even so, the addition of an eighth seat makes things a little different.

For starters, each round now lasts longer. More cards have to be dealt and another player is making decisions, both of which prolong how long each round takes. If you’re an experienced player, making things last even longer likely isn’t your idea of fun. However, if your focus is on chatting with other people at the table, you won’t mind that much.

8-Seat American Blackjack also brings a big upside to both players and operators. An extra seat per table opens the door to more people to find a seat instead of waiting for one to open up. If you don’t like using the Bet Behind feature, having more seats on every table is a great way to avoid it.

8-Seat American Blackjack Side Bets

In an effort to keep things interesting, Stakelogic adjusted the name of its side bets. However, these are the same bonuses you’re used to seeing, just under a new name. The team did the same thing when they released Super Stake Blackjack. There are four in total: Golden Pairs, 3, Golden 3, and Buzz-T.

  • Golden Pairs awards a prize if the player’s first two cards form a pair.
  • 3 requires the players to create one of five possible combinations using their two cards and the dealer’s upcard.
  • Golden 3 pays if a valid three-card poker hand is formed using the first three cards on the table.
  • The Buzz T side bet wins if the dealer busts.

Our Thoughts on 8-Seat American Blackjack

Ultimately, we don’t have a lot to say about 8-Seat American Blackjack. The new addition is interesting enough but is not a radical change. It doesn’t fundamentally alter how you play blackjack like Super Stake Blackjack had done. As such, you will get a feel for whether you like it or not in the first five minutes of trying the game.

We think it’s nice to have extra options, and Stakelogic’s release delivers on that front. If you’re looking for a sweet and simple way to shake up your live casino blackjack experience, 8-Seat American Blackjack might be the way to go.
