How to Play Quantum Blackjack Plus
Quantum Blackjack Plus is played with a six-deck shoe. Each deck is composed of fifty-two cards. The game uses an auto shuffler, which reshuffles the shoe after each round is completed. This prevents casino members from counting cards to gain an advantage over the developer.
Before the round begins, three or five cards are selected randomly to become multiple cards. The number of cards and their associated multiplier value is assigned using the random number generator. Possible multipliers the cards can hold are 2.5x, 3x, 5x or 10x your total stake. All cards are assigned the same multiplier. Multipliers are paid if the player hand beats the dealer or if the dealer busts with more than three cards.
The core rules of blackjack mostly stay the same. Two cards are dealt for the player and dealer positions. Casino members can see both of their cards, but only the single dealer card. Draw exactly twenty-one to land a blackjack win. If you draw any other pair, you need to decide what to do next. Players can choose to hit, stand, split or double up on their cards. Instead, it is treated as a push. This rule change is what makes multipliers possible.
Quantum Blackjack Plus Side Bets
Multipliers are part of the base game. Despite that, Playtech still makes room to squeeze in a few side bets. If you like keeping your gameplay varied, Quantum Blackjack Plus has two side bets you will enjoy.
The first one is Perfect Pairs, which grants a cash prize if your first two cards form a pair. Depending on the quality of the pair, you will receive a better reward. A standard pair of cards pays 6:1. A pair of cards with matching colours (red or black) pays 12:1. Finally, a perfect pair (colour and suit match) pays 25:1. The RTP for Perfect Pairs is 93.89%, much lower than the main hand’s 99.57% RTP.
The other side bet players can play is 21+3. The wager combines the first two cards and the first card the dealer has. These three cards must form a valid three-card poker hand to win. The payout you receive depends on the quality of the formed poker hand.
