Michigan Receives NetEnt’s Slots and Live Casino Offering

On the 26th of January, three days ago, NetEnt announced that it has launched its full offering with several operators in the newly-regulated iGaming market in Michigan, the US.

The day the Michigan Gaming Control Board launched the online gambling and sportsbetting market in the state was the day NetEnt went live with operators like BetMGM, Fan Duel, BetRivers/RSI, Golden Nugget, Churchill Downs, Wynn Bet, William Hill and DraftKings. This was on the 22nd of January, Friday.

Players across these sites that all began their operations in the state are already offering NetEnt’s mega-popular slot titles Divine Fortune, Starburst, as well as its Live Casino titles like Live Blackjack. As you may as well know, these are all titles which are player-favourites in the already regulated states of West Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. And as you already know, Evolution Group acquired NetEnt, therefore, NetEnt’s extensive and immediate Michigan entry underlines Evolution’s front-runner position in the US market. But NetEnt’s games were live on day one in West Virginia in 2020 and in Pennsylvania in 2019, therefore, there’s no doubt that both developers have had a huge success in the US. Later this year, Evolution will open its third US state-of-the-art broadcast Live Casino studio, precisely in Michigan. The third studio launch follows the ones in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and will be the eleventh for Evolution on a global level.

What Will These Launches Mean for NetEnt?

Evolution’s Commercial Director for North America, Jeff Millar, said that America was an absolute priority market for the Group, which was reflected by the scale of NetEnt’s immediate, first-day presence in the newly regulated Michigan market. He added that the successful launch with several Michigan operators was the result of months of planning for the markets’ go-live and Evolution Group’s long on-the-ground experience in the US.

Finally, he added that they were poised to add more operators in all regulated US states, Michigan included, during 2020, as they had a roadmap of high-profile game releases. Miller finished the statement saying that as they had once again shown they were ready for new markets to be switched on and partnered casinos to offer a first-class product to their players from the very minute they went live.

And, from all we know about both NetEnt and Evolution, they are most certainly going to make a boom in the Michigan market. The two developers, now with combined forces, are taking the Live Casino industry by a storm, the US markets included. With the launch of the new studio in Michigan, we expect more new games to be revealed, therefore, the fun will never stop arriving for Live Dealers games fans!
