Quick Summary
- Race Track is a fast RNG-powered racing game from Evolution, where six randomly selected racers compete, and you simply bet on which one will finish first.
- Each race uses six racers selected from a pool of 50, ranging from strong favourites to long-shot outsiders, with different winning probabilities and payouts.
- The game has an optimal RTP of 96.00%, while payouts range from 1:1 up to 89:1 for the biggest outsider.
- All Horses and Tipster’s Choice statistics provide information about previous results, including how racers performed compared with their theoretical winning probabilities.
- Race Track is available in Horse and Dinosaur modes, with versions both with and without a live host. The gameplay is simple and extremely fast, but there are no traditional bonus rounds or multipliers.
- Our expert view: Race Track is an original and easy-to-play alternative to traditional live casino games, but it is also one of Evolution’s more basic releases. We like the fast races and changing odds, but the limited 89:1 maximum payout, lack of bonus features, modest studio, and relatively passive role of the live host keep it from competing with Evolution’s best games.

What is Race Track Live?
Race Track by Evolution is a straightforward live casino game show that tasks players with predicting which horse will win the round.
Evolution needs no introduction. As the most prominent live casino game provider, their games always meet my expectations. That is why I was quite excited when the team announced Race Track, a live game show all about betting on horses.
In this review, I’ll give you all the ins and outs of this new release. I’ll discuss how it’s played and what you can expect from Evolution’s latest title. Saddle up, and let’s see if this game is worth your time.
Choose a Horse to Get Started
Every round starts with players wagering on one of six horses. You have a limited time to choose your favourite. That said, you aren’t limited to one horse. You can bet on multiple or even all six to win, though that’s not great for your budget.
After wagering is complete, it’s just a matter of waiting to see how the round ends. Players who pick the right horse receive cash prizes, while the rest simply move on to the next round.
How to Play Race Track Live
Choose Your Racer

Pick one of the six racers you think will win the race. You can also bet on more than one racer.
Check the Statistics (Optional)

Look at the racer statistics to see which racers win more often and which offer higher payouts.
Place Your Bet

Set your stake and place your bet before the betting time ends.
Watch the Race

When betting closes, the race starts immediately. The racers move toward the finish line.
Collect Your Winnings

If your chosen racer wins the race, you receive your payout based on the odds.
“Race Track is a fast and simple live casino game with short races, clear betting options, and a retro arcade vibe.
This game appeals to players who enjoy quick, high-energy action.”
Game Interface
I like how Evolution’s artists designed the UI. Everything is part of a betting machine. The main screen displays the race in progress, while off to the side, the host provides commentary on what’s happening.
Beneath the screens are six betting spots, which show you what kind of payout you can expect for each wager and how many players have placed that bet. Finally, you can see the coins at the bottom of the screen, which is how you adjust how much you bet.
Interface Explained:
- Bet Spots – Place coins on them to bet on the outcome.
- Coins – Choose how much you wager.
- Double – Double your previous bet if you want.
- Autoplay – The game automatically repeats your chosen bet for a set number of spins.
- Total Bet – Follow how much you wagered in the ongoing round.
- Balance – Check how much money you have in your account.
- Chat – Turn chat on or off if you want to talk with other players.
The game works on PCs, laptops, and smartphones. Where you play comes down to personal preference, as the visuals and gameplay are identical across all devices.
Pros and Cons of Race Track

- Choice between favourites and high-paying outsiders

Strategy to Play Race Track Live
There isn’t any room for strategizing in Race Track Live. You can pick between safer horses with smaller payouts or riskier picks that let you score big wins. It’s a rather binary choice. Furthermore, given that the top prize is 90x your stake, I imagine most players will prefer to just make their budget last.
The ability to bet on multiple horses does leave an opportunity to mix and match, wagering on the safest and riskiest horses at the same time. With a bit of luck, this will result in an occasional big payout without breaking the bank.
My Results in Different Playing Sessions
I spent a fair bit of time trying my luck with different wagers, mixing and matching to see how things would turn out. As you might expect, the horses that had the best odds of winning were usually the ones that took it home. The highest win I managed to snag was 26:1 after racer Rewind beat the odds and brought it home.
What Type of Player Is Race Track Best Suited For?
Race Track is best suited to players who enjoy simple, fast-paced games without complicated rules or bonus features. You choose a racer, place your bet, and watch the race unfold.
The game particularly suits players who:
- Enjoy virtual horse racing and retro-style racing games.
- Prefer short, straightforward rounds without complex decisions.
- Like choosing between safer favourites and high-risk outsiders with bigger payouts.
- Enjoy using recent statistics to follow how different racers have performed.
- Prefer a simple game over modern game shows filled with multipliers and bonus rounds.
- Want an alternative to traditional live casino games such as blackjack, roulette, and baccarat.
Race Track is less suitable for players looking for big multipliers, interactive bonuses, or very high win potential. With a maximum payout of 89:1 and relatively few additional features, the game is much more about the excitement of picking a winner than chasing huge prizes.

What’s My Opinion on Race Track Live?
Race Track is not really my type of live casino game. I understand the appeal of the retro racing style, and I actually remember this type of game from years ago. Still, I personally prefer the more modern generation of live casino games with richer graphics, interactive features, and more varied gameplay.
What I miss most are multipliers and bonus features. Once you have picked your racer, there is not much else to look forward to besides watching the race. The maximum payout of 89:1 also feels modest compared with many modern Evolution games.
Our expert view: Race Track is original, fast, and extremely easy to understand, so there is certainly an audience for it. However, the limited win potential, lack of bonus features, and fairly basic presentation make it feel dated compared with Evolution’s best modern live games.
