Teen Patti has an optimal RTP of 96.63% on the main Ante game, which is high enough for our maximum score. This percentage assumes that you make the correct Play or Fold decision after seeing your three cards. The RTP is based on the initial Ante bet and should not be confused with the return of the optional side bets.

We consider 96.63% a good return for a live casino card game, although it is worth remembering that making poor Play/Fold decisions can reduce the theoretical return.

This is where Teen Patti loses quite a few points. The main Ante game has an RTP of 96.63%, while Pair Plus drops slightly to 95.51%. The biggest difference comes from the 6 Card Bonus, which has an RTP of only 91.44%.

That creates a gap of 5.19 percentage points between the best and worst betting options. We consider that significant. The 1,000:1 maximum payout of the 6 Card Bonus may look attractive, but mathematically it is clearly the least favourable bet on the table.

We therefore recommend checking the RTP of each bet rather than assuming that every option offers similar value.

Teen Patti offers some attractive payouts, but the biggest prizes mainly come from the side bets. The Ante Bonus pays up to 5:1, while Pair Plus can reach 100:1 for a Mini Royal. The biggest payout is found on the 6 Card Bonus, where a Royal Flush pays 1,000:1.

We like having the possibility of a four-figure payout in a relatively simple card game. However, the 1,000:1 result is extremely difficult to hit and comes from the 6 Card Bonus, which also has the game’s lowest RTP at 91.44%.

There is therefore real big-win potential, but the largest prizes come at a considerable mathematical cost.

Teen Patti has more depth than you might expect from a three-card game. You don’t simply place a bet and wait for the result. After receiving your three cards, you must decide whether to Play or Fold, so there is a genuine decision to make in every round.

The Pair Plus and 6 Card Bonus bets add another layer without making the game overly complicated. We especially like that players who want a simple experience can stick to the main game, while more adventurous players can add the side bets.

During our test sessions, the pace felt comfortable rather than particularly fast. There is enough time to evaluate your cards and make the Play/Fold decision without making the game feel unnecessarily slow.

Teen Patti doesn’t have traditional Bonus rounds, multipliers or game-show features, but there is still enough variety to keep the game interesting.

Pair Plus rewards a Pair or better using your own three cards and can pay up to 100:1. The 6 Card Bonus combines your three cards with the dealer’s three cards to create the best possible five-card Poker hand, with payouts reaching 1,000:1.

There is also an Ante Bonus for a Straight or better. We like these additional features because they give you something extra to watch for beyond simply beating the dealer. However, players looking for elaborate Bonus games will find Teen Patti relatively traditional.

Teen Patti stands out from the usual Blackjack, Baccarat and Roulette tables, especially for players who are less familiar with traditional Indian card games. However, Evolution didn’t invent the underlying game.

Teen Patti originated in India and is essentially a traditional three-card Poker game. Evolution’s version adds the polished live presentation, side bets and user-friendly interface we expect from the provider, but the core concept remains traditional.

We therefore give good marks for bringing something different to the international live casino lobby, but not for creating an entirely new game concept.

Teen Patti’s interface looks very clean and logical. The Ante, Pair Plus and 6 Card Bonus betting areas are clearly separated, and once your cards have been dealt, the game presents two obvious choices: Play or Fold.

We particularly like that your three-card combination is automatically recognised and displayed on screen. The interface also tells you when the dealer does not qualify, which saves beginners from having to calculate everything themselves.

Considering how many different payouts and hand combinations are involved, Evolution has done a good job of keeping the controls simple.

The basic game is easy to understand: place an Ante, receive three cards and then choose whether to Play or Fold. Evolution also displays the value of your hand automatically, which makes Teen Patti accessible even if you don’t know every Poker combination by heart.

There is a little more to learn once you start looking at the details. You need to understand the dealer’s Queen-high qualification rule, the Ante Bonus and how Pair Plus and 6 Card Bonus are evaluated separately.

We therefore wouldn’t call Teen Patti difficult, but complete beginners will probably need several rounds or a quick look at the rules before they understand every payout.

Teen Patti looks very well suited to mobile play. There are relatively few betting areas, the three player cards remain prominent on screen and the Play/Fold decision requires only a simple tap.

Evolution has also designed the game for desktop, tablet and smartphone. Unlike some feature-heavy live games, there isn’t a huge amount of information competing for limited screen space.

During our Teen Patti test sessions, we experienced no technical problems. The cards were dealt and recognised correctly, and the game moved smoothly from the initial Ante to the Play/Fold decision and dealer reveal.

Because Teen Patti uses physical cards and automatic card recognition, we specifically watched for card-reading errors, dealing problems and unexplained pauses. We had none.

The dealers did a good job during our Teen Patti test sessions. They were professional, knowledgeable and ran the game smoothly, with the cards and results presented clearly.

Teen Patti is not really a game where we expect highly enthusiastic dealers. The dealers maintain a calm and professional atmosphere, which suits Teen Patti well. They keep the game moving, clearly handle each stage of the round and don’t try to turn a traditional card game into a game show. There was nothing exceptional about the dealer experience during our sessions, but there was also very little to criticise. Competent, professional and appropriate for the game is exactly how we would describe it.

The Teen Patti studio is clean, professional and appropriately themed. Evolution has added clear Indian influences without making the setting feel overly busy or distracting.

The Indian theme can be seen in both the studio décor and the clothing worn by the dealers. The purple and gold table, decorative background and traditional influences give Teen Patti its own identity and fit the origins of the game well. Evolution itself describes the game as an Indian-origin variant presented from an Asian-style studio.

From a practical perspective, the studio also works well. The cards are clearly visible, the lighting is good and there are no unnecessary visual elements competing for your attention.

However, we wouldn’t describe the studio as exceptional. It is attractive and suits Teen Patti very well, but compared with Evolution’s more elaborate modern studios and game shows, it is relatively simple.

Overall, this is a well-designed and fitting studio rather than a spectacular one.
