What is Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker?
Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker is a live casino poker game developed by Evolution. You play against the dealer, not against other players. The goal is simple: make the best five-card hand using your two cards and the five community cards.
What makes it special are the two optional side bets. The Bonus Bet pays based only on your first two cards, and the Progressive Jackpot Bet gives a chance at fixed prizes and a growing jackpot. This mix of strategy and excitement makes the game fun and fast for all players.
How to Play Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker
Place Your Bets

Start by placing the Ante bet. You may also choose the Bonus Bet and the Progressive Jackpot Bet for extra prizes.
Receive Your Cards

You get two face-up cards. The dealer gets two face-down cards.
Choose Play or Fold

Look at your cards. If you fold, you lose your Ante. If you play, the game places a Flop bet worth 2× your Ante.
See the Flop

Three community cards appear. You choose to Play (1× Ante) or Check.
See the Turn and River

One card appears at a time. After each card, you choose to Play (1× Ante) or Check.
Dealer Reveals Cards

You and the dealer make your best five-card hands. If your hand wins, your Play bets pay even money. Side bets pay separately.
“Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker is fast and simple. You bet big when you feel strong, and the game can turn small stakes into big wins.
Just keep in mind the house edge is higher than in regular poker.”
Game Features
Live Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker starts when a player places an Ante bet. As with other live poker versions of this type, the Blind bet is placed automatically. Both of these bets are of the same value. As with other live poker table games, the player plays against the dealer.
Similar to Evolution’s Live Ultimate Texas Hold’em Poker, the Ante bet can be raised 3 or 4 times. If the player hasn’t raised until the fourth and fifth cards are dealt, they have to fold. This means that the player automatically loses the Ante and Blind bets.
The Ante pushes if the dealer doesn’t have a qualifying hand. A hand that doesn’t qualify has less than a pair in Live Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker. If the dealer’s hand qualifies, the player has a chance to have a winning bet. However, his/her hand has to be better than the dealer’s.
Bonus Bets
The bonus bet can be placed after the Ante and the Blind bets have been placed. If a player forms a Three of a Kind or better, he/she will win the bonus bet. This outcome is independent of the main game and of the cards that the dealer has.
In terms of the First Five Jackpot side bet, a player needs a Royal Flush to win it. However, the Royal Flush is not the only winning hand. There are also other fixed prizes for lower-level winning hands.

What’s My Opinion on Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker?
As a poker player, I see Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker as a fun and lighter version of the game I know well. You don’t face other players, so the pressure of reading opponents is gone.
Instead, the focus is on making solid decisions with the cards you receive and enjoying the fast pace. The structure feels familiar, but the Bonus Bet and Progressive Jackpot add a casino-style twist that you never get at a real poker table.
This game is great for players who enjoy the flow of Texas Hold’em but want something quicker and simpler. It’s perfect for beginners learning hand strength, casual players who enjoy steady action, and anyone who likes mixing strategy with the excitement of potential big bonus payouts.
