American Roulette

American Roulette has an optimal RTP of 94.74%. This applies to the regular bets on the table, including Straight Up, Split, Street, Corner, Red/Black and Even/Odd.

The relatively low RTP is caused by the double-zero wheel. American Roulette has both 0 and 00, giving the wheel 38 pockets instead of the 37 found in European Roulette. The standard payouts remain the same, resulting in a house edge of approximately 5.26%.

Most bets in American Roulette have the same 94.74% RTP, which means there is normally no mathematical difference between choosing a Straight Up, Split, Corner, Dozen or even-money bet.

There is one important exception: the Five Bet, which covers 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3. Its RTP is only 92.11%, giving it a house edge of 7.89%. The gap between the highest and lowest RTP is therefore 2.63 percentage points.

American Roulette offers very limited big-win potential compared with modern Roulette variants. The highest standard payout is 35:1 for a Straight Up bet, followed by 17:1 for Split, 11:1 for Street and 8:1 for Corner.

There are no random multipliers or bonus features capable of producing much larger payouts. A 35:1 win is still attractive, but games such as Lightning Roulette and Ultimate Roulette offer significantly more potential for exceptionally large wins.

American Roulette has the familiar pace of traditional live Roulette. There is enough betting time to combine several Inside and Outside bets, while the different bet types give players plenty of ways to cover the wheel.

However, there is little additional depth beyond classic Roulette. Every round follows essentially the same pattern and there are no multipliers or changing game mechanics to add another layer to the gameplay.

American Roulette has no bonus rounds, random multipliers or special win features. The main addition compared with European Roulette is the Five Bet, which allows one bet to cover 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3.

Useful interface features such as live betting statistics and neighbour betting are available, but these don’t fundamentally change the game. Players looking for bonus features or boosted payouts will find American Roulette very basic.

There is very little originality here, although that is partly the point. American Roulette is designed to reproduce the traditional double-zero version of Roulette rather than reinvent it.

Its main differences from European Roulette are the additional 00 pocket, a different number order around the wheel and the Five Bet. Beyond that, this is classic live Roulette without any innovative gameplay mechanics.

The betting interface is clean and easy to use. Inside and Outside bets can be placed directly on the main grid, while the racetrack provides a convenient way to place neighbour bets without selecting every number individually.

Live betting statistics are also available without making the screen feel unnecessarily complicated. Overall, the interface gives players all the controls we expect from a modern live Roulette game.

American Roulette is straightforward and easy to follow. The betting grid clearly separates the different betting options, and the interface makes it easy to see which numbers are covered by your wagers.

Players who already know Roulette should be able to start immediately. New players only need to understand the basic Inside and Outside bets and the important difference between American and European Roulette: this wheel contains both 0 and 00.

American Roulette works well on mobile, with the betting interface adapted to the smaller screen. The main betting grid remains usable and the game provides access to the same important betting and statistics features as the desktop version.

However, Roulette naturally has a large betting layout with many individual bet positions. That makes placing more complicated combinations slightly less convenient on a small screen than on desktop.

We experienced no technical delays or interruptions during our test sessions. The video stream remained stable, bets were registered correctly and the game moved smoothly from one round to the next.

Our test sessions are still a relatively small sample, so we don’t award a perfect score. Based on what we experienced, however, American Roulette performed exactly as expected.

The dealers were professional and consistent throughout our test sessions. They handled the wheel smoothly, clearly announced the different stages of each round and kept the game moving at a comfortable pace.

We didn’t notice any mistakes or other issues. There was also nothing particularly exceptional about the dealer experience, but for a traditional Roulette game they did exactly what we expected.

The studio is clean, professional and functional, with the Roulette wheel and dealer clearly visible throughout the game. There are no distracting elements that interfere with the gameplay.

At the same time, there is little about the studio that really stands out. Compared with some of Evolution’s more elaborate live casino productions, the setting feels fairly basic. It does its job well, but doesn’t add much extra atmosphere to the game.
