Quick Summary
- Fireball Roulette combines single-zero European Roulette with a separate physical ball-drop bonus game.
- Each round, 3–7 numbers receive a Fireball, and some can also receive an additional 2x–20x multiplier.
- A winning Straight Up bet on a Fireball Number unlocks the 149-pocket Fireball Bonus grid.
- DOUBLE pockets can repeatedly double all Regular multipliers and relaunch the ball, with the final bonus multiplier capped at 2,500x.
- Straight Up bets return 97.00% RTP, while all other standard roulette bets offer 97.30%.
- Expert View: The real attraction is the physical Fireball Bonus. Instead of simply applying a multiplier to a roulette number, Evolution turns a qualifying win into a completely separate ball-drop game.

What Is Fireball Roulette?
Fireball Roulette is a live single-zero European Roulette variant from Evolution that combines traditional roulette with a separate physical bonus game.
The main game uses the familiar 37-pocket wheel with numbers 0–36. Before the result is known, an RNG-powered slot machine determines how many Fireball Numbers will appear. Each round contains between 3 and 7 Fireball Numbers, which are randomly assigned to numbers on the betting grid.
Only Straight Up bets can qualify for the Fireball Bonus. If the roulette ball lands on a Fireball Number and you placed a Straight Up bet on that number, the action moves away from the roulette wheel to a separate physical bonus game.
This bonus uses a large enclosure containing 149 multiplier pockets. A ball is launched onto the grid and can land on either a Regular multiplier or a DOUBLE pocket. DOUBLE results increase all Regular multiplier values and launch the ball again, creating the possibility of several consecutive bonus stages.
The concept will feel familiar to players who know Lightning Storm, but Fireball Roulette uses it differently. Roulette remains the main game, while the Fireball feature only takes over after a qualifying Straight Up win.
How to Play Fireball Roulette
Place Your Bets

Choose your bets on the roulette table just like in classic roulette. You can bet on single numbers, colors, or number groups.
Only straight-up bets on single numbers can trigger the Fireball Bonus round, so make sure to include at least one if you want a chance to enter the bonus. Place all your wagers before the timer ends.
Some casinos also offer the optional Fireball Chaser side bet. This extra wager automatically covers all active Fireball Bonus Numbers in a round, giving you more chances to reach the bonus game.
Fireball Bonus Numbers

Before the spin, the game uses RNG to select between three and seven Fireball Bonus Numbers.
Some of these numbers can also receive random multipliers of up to 20x. These multipliers carry over into the Fireball Bonus round if that number is hit.
Roulette Wheel Spins

The dealer spins the wheel and releases the ball. Watch closely to see where it lands.
Regular Payout

If the ball lands on one of your chosen bets, you win according to the regular roulette paytable. Straight-up bets pay 25 to 1 in Fireball Roulette to make the bonus feature possible.
Fireball Bonus

If the ball lands on one of your Bonus Numbers, you trigger the Fireball Bonus game. A ball drops into a grid with 149 pockets, each showing a multiplier.
Regular multipliers give instant prizes. Double multipliers double all values on the grid and restart the ball drop. This can happen again and again.
Collect Your Winnings

When the Fireball Bonus ends, your total win is calculated, and the round is complete. The maximum possible win per round is around €/$/£500,000, depending on your casino and local currency. The exact limit can vary slightly between operators. After payouts, a new game begins.
“The idea of adding multipliers to roulette is not new, as games like Lightning Roulette already use them.
What makes Fireball Roulette different is the live bonus round, which adds real excitement and makes it one of the most entertaining roulette games available today.”
The Fireball Chaser Side Bet
Fireball Chaser is an optional bet that automatically gives you Straight Up coverage on the Fireball Numbers selected for that round. This means you can qualify for the Fireball Bonus without manually betting on each Fireball Number.
The bet costs 13.6 times your selected chip value. For example, with a €0.20 chip, the Fireball Chaser costs €2.72 for that round.
Once the Fireball Numbers have been selected, the Chaser automatically covers them. If the roulette ball lands on one of these numbers, your Straight Up bet qualifies for the Fireball Bonus.
The important thing to understand is that 13.6x is the cost of the Chaser bet, not a win multiplier. Using Fireball Chaser also increases the amount you risk per round, so it is worth keeping an eye on your total stake.
Expert View: Fireball Chaser is a convenient option if your main goal is to reach the bonus game. You do not have to guess which numbers will receive a Fireball, but you pay considerably more per round for that extra bonus coverage.
Game Interface Explained
The game uses a familiar user interface that I have seen from other Evolution live roulette games. The betting board sits at the bottom of the screen and comes up during the betting stage.
Wagering is as simple as choosing the coin you want and tapping or clicking on one or more numbers.
Live chat, volume, and other settings can be found in the upper-right corner. They’re easy to access if you need them, but aren’t so apparent that they would distract you from the action in front of you.
- Bet Areas
Place coins on or between numbered sections to place bets. - Coins
You use them to determine how much you bet per round. - Bonus Numbers
Between 3 and 7 numbers are chosen by RNG, which trigger the bonus round. - Total Bet
Keep track of how much you’re betting in one round. - Balance
Displays the total amount of money you can use for wagering. - Chat
Turn chat on or off whenever you like.
Evolution adjusts the user interface depending on which device you’re using. However, the key elements are always easily accessible, ensuring players have an easy time playing the game.

Payouts
| Bet | Payouts |
|---|---|
| Straight Up | 25–2,499:1 |
| Split | 17:1 |
| Street | 11:1 |
| Corner | 8:1 |
| Line | 5:1 |
| Column/Dozen | 2:1 |
| Red/Black | 1:1 |
| Even/Odd | 1:1 |
| 1–18/19–36 | 1:1 |
Fireball Roulette RTP
Fireball Roulette does not have one RTP for every betting option. The theoretical return depends on how you choose to play:
| Betting option | RTP |
|---|---|
| Standard roulette bets | 97.30% |
| Straight Up | 97.00% |
| Fireball Chaser | 95.10% |
The difference is important. Split, Street, Corner, Line and outside bets retain the standard 97.30% RTP of European Roulette. Straight Up bets return slightly less because they can unlock the Fireball Bonus.
The biggest difference comes from Fireball Chaser. Its 95.10% RTP means a house edge of 4.90%, compared with 2.70% on the standard bets.
Expert View: Fireball Chaser is convenient if reaching the bonus is your priority, but it comes at a clear mathematical cost. If RTP matters most to you, the standard roulette bets at 97.30% offer considerably better long-term value.
Tips & Strategies for Fireball Roulette
There is no strategy that can change the odds of the roulette wheel or guarantee a profit in Fireball Roulette. However, your choice of bets has a clear effect on RTP, bonus access and how quickly your balance can fluctuate.
Decide Whether You Want to Chase the Bonus
Only Straight Up bets can qualify for the Fireball Bonus during normal play. These bets have an RTP of 97.00%, compared with 97.30% for the other standard roulette bets.
If the Fireball Bonus is the main reason you play, including Straight Up bets makes sense. If you prefer the best available RTP, the standard non-Straight Up bets are mathematically better.
Use Fireball Chaser Carefully
Fireball Chaser automatically gives you coverage on the Fireball Numbers selected for that round. It is convenient if you do not want to manually cover individual numbers, but that convenience comes at a price.
The bet costs 13.6x your selected chip value and has an RTP of only 95.10%. That is considerably lower than the 97.00% Straight Up RTP and 97.30% offered by the other standard bets.
For this reason, we see Fireball Chaser primarily as a way to increase your exposure to the bonus rather than a mathematically attractive bet.
Don’t Cover Too Many Numbers
Covering more Straight Up numbers increases your chance of having a bet on the winning Fireball Number, but it also increases your total stake every round.
There is no need to cover large parts of the table just because you want to reach the bonus. A smaller selection of Straight Up bets gives you bonus exposure while keeping the cost per spin under better control.
Don’t Chase the 2,500x Maximum
The Fireball Bonus can reach a maximum multiplier of 2,500x, but that should not influence how much you stake. Reaching the highest values requires a favourable sequence of results in the bonus game.
Likewise, a Fireball Number showing a 2x–20x multiplier does not make that roulette number more likely to win. The multiplier changes the potential reward, not the probability of the ball landing on that number.
Keep Your Stakes Consistent
Fireball Roulette can produce considerable swings, especially when you focus on Straight Up bets or use Fireball Chaser. Decide how much you are prepared to spend before starting and choose a stake that allows you to handle several losing rounds.
Increasing your stake after a losing streak does not improve the probability of winning the next spin.
Expert View: Our preferred approach is to keep Straight Up coverage limited rather than chasing every Fireball Number. Fireball Chaser is an easy way to get more bonus exposure, but its 95.10% RTP is the lowest in the game. For us, that makes it a feature to use selectively rather than on every spin.
Best Suited For
| Best suited for | Why |
|---|---|
| Roulette players who want more excitement | The main game remains familiar European Roulette, but qualifying Straight Up bets can unlock a separate bonus game. |
| Fans of Lightning Storm | The physical Fireball Bonus uses a similar ball-drop concept with multipliers and DOUBLE pockets. |
| Players who enjoy bonus features | The 149-pocket bonus grid adds a genuine second stage instead of simply attaching multipliers to winning roulette numbers. |
| Players comfortable with higher variance | Straight Up bets and the bonus mechanic create bigger swings than relying mainly on outside bets. |
| Players chasing larger multipliers | The Fireball Bonus can reach up to 2,500x. |
| Players who like visually entertaining live games | The physical bonus game, animations and industrial-themed studio make it more show-like than standard roulette. |
Less suited for: players who mainly want traditional roulette, prefer a steady pace without bonus interruptions, or focus strongly on the highest possible RTP. Fireball Chaser in particular has a relatively low 95.10% RTP.

What’s My Opinion on Fireball Roulette?
I think Fireball Roulette is one of the more entertaining roulette variants Evolution has released in recent years. The main roulette game is easy to follow, but the Fireball Bonus gives it something genuinely different from games that simply add multipliers to selected numbers.
For me, the best part is the physical 149-pocket bonus game. Watching the ball move across the grid creates real suspense, especially when it lands on a DOUBLE, and the multipliers increase before another ball is launched. I also like the extra 2x–20x multipliers that can be attached to Fireball Numbers, as they make qualifying bonus rounds even more interesting.
There are some trade-offs. Straight Up bets pay only 25:1 in the base game, and I am less enthusiastic about Fireball Chaser because of its 95.10% RTP. It is convenient if you want maximum exposure to the bonus, but I would not use it on every round.
Overall, Fireball Roulette works well for me because it still feels like roulette rather than a game show with a roulette wheel added to it. I prefer playing a limited number of Straight Up bets and treating the Fireball Bonus as the extra attraction rather than chasing it at any cost.
Expert View: Fireball Roulette is a strong choice for roulette players who enjoy bonus games and bigger multiplier potential. The Fireball Bonus is the highlight, but I would stick mainly to regular bets and selective Straight Up coverage rather than relying heavily on the lower-RTP Fireball Chaser.
