What Is Nexus Roulette?
Nexus Roulette from OnAir Entertainment features four different roulette wheels. Unlike traditional roulette, this game offers two bonus bets (Nexus Bets and Wheel Sum Bets) and the chance to win up to 5,000 times your bet, much higher than standard roulette.
At first glance, the four wheels and various betting options might seem overwhelming, but don’t worry, because it’s easier than it looks. Once you get the hang of it, Nexus Roulette is very engaging. If you’re looking for a simpler roulette game with big multipliers, though, check out Lightning Roulette.
Wheels and Betting Options
As mentioned, Nexus Roulette has four different roulette wheels. Each wheel has a single zero, like in European Roulette. The main wheel is in the front of the studio, and three smaller wheels are in the back.
These extra wheels can boost your payout up to 5,000x, depending on your bet. Let’s dive into the different betting options and explain which wheels you need to focus on, along with the payouts and RTP for each.
Inside Bets (Line Bets)
In Nexus Roulette, inside bets are similar to those in traditional roulette games. These bets are placed on specific numbers or small groups of numbers, which are located on the inside of the betting layout.
Unlike outside bets, which cover broader categories, inside bets focus on more precise outcomes, such as betting on a single number, a pair of adjacent numbers, or a block of four numbers.
Inside bets in Nexus Roulette are placed on the main wheel, which is the large wheel located in the front of the studio.
These bets do not involve the three bonus wheels, as the multipliers and extra payouts are reserved for the straight-up bet and special betting options.
| INSIDE BETS | PAYOUT |
|---|---|
| Split ( 2 adjacent numbers) | 17:1 |
| Street (3 numbers in a row) | 11:1 |
| Corner (block of 4 numbers) | 8:1 |
| Six Line (block of 4 numbers) | 5:1 |
Straight-Up Bets With Increased Payout
A straight-up bet is a bet where you bet on only one number. The base payout of a straight-up bet in Roulette equals 28:1, but it can be boosted by the three wheels in the back.
This is the option where you can achieve the maximum payout of 5,000x. The payout can increase in the following ways:
- If your chosen number appears on the main wheel and one bonus wheel, you win 50 x your bet.
- If it appears on the main wheel and two bonus wheels, you win 500 x your bet.
- If it lands on the main wheel and all three bonus wheels, you hit the top prize of 5,000 x your bet.
- If your number appears only on two bonus wheels (but not on the main wheel), you get 50 x your bet.
- If it shows up on all three bonus wheels without appearing on the main wheel, you win 500 x your bet.
The RTP for straight-up bets is slightly lower at 97.05%, but I think the chance for big wins is worth the slight decrease in RTP.
Outside Bets
In traditional roulette, outside bets are placed on broader categories, such as betting on colors (red or black), odd or even numbers, high or low numbers, or on dozens or columns.
These bets are generally easier to win compared to inside bets, but they also come with smaller payouts. In Nexus Roulette, the outside bets are a bit different, as the payouts are determined by all four wheels. The goal here is to match numbers across multiple wheels.
- Column Bet:
A column bet allows you to bet on one of the three columns on the roulette layout, each containing 12 numbers. To win, at least three of the four wheels need to land on numbers from your chosen column. The more wheels that match, the higher the payout. Here’s how the column bet payouts work:- If 3 wheels land on your chosen column, you win 8 times your bet.
- If 4 wheels land on your column, you win 20 times your bet.
- Colour Bet:
Instead of the typical red and black colors, Nexus Roulette uses “neon” and “red” to represent the two colors. Again, the payouts are based on how many wheels show a number of your chosen color:- If 3 wheels land on your chosen color, you win 3 times your bet.
- If all 4 wheels land on your chosen color, you win 4 times your bet.
The RTP for Column Bet and Colour Bet are respectively 95.89% and 93.35%. These bets offer a higher payout compared to some regular outside bets, but they come with a slightly lower RTP of 95.89% and 93.35% for respectively Column Bet and Colour Bet.
Nexus Bets
Nexus Bets are a unique feature of Nexus Roulette, allowing you to bet on matching numbers across all four wheels without choosing a specific number. The more wheels that match, the higher your payout.
Here’s how the payouts work:
- Two wheels match: 4:1
- Two wheels match one number and the other two match another number: 9:1
- Three wheels match the same number: 49:1
- All four wheels match the same number: 499:1
Since you don’t need to pick the exact number, Nexus Bets are easier to win than straight-up bets but have lower payouts. It’s a fun way to increase your chances of winning while still aiming for decent rewards.
Wheel Sum Bets
Wheel Sum Bets allow you to bet on the total sum of the numbers from all four wheels combined. The idea is to predict whether the sum will fall within a certain range. Very low or very high sums offer bigger payouts, while sums closer to the middle pay less.
| WHEEL SUM BETS | PAYOUT |
|---|---|
| 0-16 | 365:1 |
| 17-40 | 13:1 |
| 41-74 | 2:1 |
| 75-102 | 2.5:1 |
| 103-119 | 14:1 |
| 120-144 | 86:1 |

What’s My Opinion on Nexus Roulette?
Nexus Roulette is one of the most enjoyable live roulette variants I have played in a long time. I love how OnAir Entertainment has managed to take a classic casino game and turn it into something that feels genuinely fresh without losing the essence of roulette.
The four connected wheels add excitement to every spin, while the Nexus Bets and the extra betting options give me far more choices than a traditional roulette table. It took me a few rounds to understand all the mechanics, but once everything clicked, I found it difficult to go back to standard live roulette.
For players who enjoy classic European Roulette, this game may feel a little more complex than necessary. However, if you like innovative live casino games that offer something different, Nexus Roulette is an easy recommendation. I hope OnAir continues to develop this concept, because I believe it is one of the best and most original roulette releases of recent years.
