Up to 10 numbers per round can receive multipliers from 50x to 500x, and Double Strike can boost them to an incredible 2000x.

How to Play XXXTreme Lightning Roulette
The Live Studio

The game is presented live from an Evolution studio. A live host presents the game. The studio has a fancy and exciting setting.
Place Your Bets

Choose the chip you want to bet with. You can place many different bets on the Roulette table, covering a single number or a certain range of numbers.
A Straight-Up bet on a Lightning Number or Chain Lightning Number is required to win a multiplied payout. Every game, you get 18 seconds to place your bets.
Lightning Numbers Are Revealed

When betting ends, the host pulls a lever to reveal 1–5 Lightning Numbers. Each gets a random multiplier of 50x–500x, shown in yellow on the screen and in the studio.
Chain Lightning May Strike

In every round, Chain Lightning can add up to nine extra numbers. Together with the Lightning Numbers, there can be up to ten in total. These Chain Lightning numbers appear in red on the screen.
And if that’s not enough, a second round of lightning called Double Strikes can happen. Double Strikes can increase multipliers up to 600x – 2,000x
The Ball Stops

The ball stops in a numbered pocket, and the winning number shows on the screen. You win if your bet covers that number.
If it is also a Lightning or Chain Lightning number and you placed a Straight Up bet, your payout is multiplied. Winnings are paid, and a new game starts.
“With bigger multipliers, higher volatility, and electrifying gameplay, it delivers suspense and the chance for massive wins.
Especially the chain lightning is very exciting!”
Game Features
XXXtreme Lightning Roulette has all the classic features of European roulette but adds exciting extras. In every round, up to 5 Lightning Numbers can receive random multipliers of 50x to 500x.
Chain Lightning can strike and add more numbers, up to a total of ten. Sometimes the Double Strike feature appears and boosts multipliers up to 2000x.
What is the Volatility of XXXTreme Lightning Roulette?
Volatility describes how often a game pays out and how big those wins can be. In general, low-volatility games deliver smaller, more frequent payouts, while high-volatility games pay less often but can produce much larger wins. Medium volatility sits somewhere in between.
XXXTreme Lightning Roulette is a high-volatility live roulette game. Most rounds won’t deliver a payout, but when you hit a straight-up bet with a Lightning, Chain Lightning, or Double Strike multiplier, the return can be significant.
Because of that, this game suits players who don’t mind longer dry spells and who play for the chance of big multiplier wins. Just keep in mind: the excitement comes with higher risk, so it’s smart to set a budget and stick to it.
How to Make Bets in XXXTreme Lightning Roulette?
You can place different types of bets, but only Straight-Up Inside bets on single numbers can get the special lightning multipliers:
- Inside Bets
These bets cover a single number or a small group of numbers right in the centre part of the betting grid. They include bets such as straight-up, split, street, and corner. - Outside Bets
These bets cover many numbers and appear around the edge of the betting grid. You can bet on things like red/black, odd/even, dozens, or columns. They pay out smaller, more often. - Race Track Bets (a.k.a. “Called Bets”)
You place these on the racetrack area around the grid. These include pre-set sections like:- Voisins: Covers 17 numbers using nine chips.
- Tiers: Covers 12 numbers with six chips.
- Orphelins: This covers 8 numbers with five chips.
- Zero Spiel: Covers a group around zero using four chips (one straight-up).
- Neighbour Bets: This covers a number and the ones on each side, up to 9 chips covering 18 numbers.
Again, remember: only straight-up bets (bets on one single number) qualify for the multiplier payouts.
| Bet Type | Payouts |
|---|---|
| Straight-Up | 19-1999:1 |
| Split | 17:1 |
| Street | 11:1 |
| Corner | 8:1 |
| Line | 5:1 |
| Dozen/Column | 2:1 |
| Odd/Even | 1:1 |
| Red/Black | 1:1 |
| Low (1-18)/HIgh (19-36) | 1:1 |
Strategies & Tips
There is no long-term winning strategy for playing roulette, but there are some strategies that can make you a winner in short sessions.
- Straight-Up Focus
Since only straight-up bets qualify for multipliers, many players put most of their money on single numbers. The payouts without a multiplier are smaller (19:1 instead of 35:1), but when multipliers hit, the rewards can be huge (up to 2000x). This strategy is high risk but high reward. - Mix Inside and Outside Bets
Some players combine straight-up bets with safer outside bets like Red/Black or Even/Odd. This way, you cover a chance for steady, smaller wins while still having a shot at big lightning multipliers on single numbers. - Neighbour Bets
Using the racetrack, you can bet on a number and its neighbours (up to 9). This covers more numbers around where the ball might land. It improves your coverage while still qualifying for multipliers if one of them hits.
My Results Playing XXXtreme Lightning Roulette
To try out this extreme roulette game, I did a few sessions. I used different strategies, and here are my results:
Straight-Up Spread
I bet €0.20 on 10 different numbers each spin (about €2 total). Many spins missed, then one 100x hit landed on a covered number for a +€18 swing that offset several losses. I finished slightly up, thanks to that single multiplier.
Neighbour Coverage
I picked one number and used 2-neighbour bets (5 chips = €1 per spin) on the racetrack. Coverage felt good, but dry spells were long. A 50x lightning hit brought a modest lift; I ended near break-even after a bumpy ride
Mix Inside + Outside
Each spin, I placed small straight-ups (to chase multipliers) and a tiny Red/Black bet for stability. The outside bet paid here and there, keeping me alive until a straight-up win (no multiplier, 19:1 base) nudged the balance up a bit. I finished with a loss of 60% of my bankroll.
Small Stakes, Many Numbers
I spread €0.20 on 15 numbers (about €3 per spin) for more lightning “coverage.” Most spins lost; one Chain Lightning round boosted extra numbers, but no hit came. Without a multiplier, losses added up, and I ended the session clearly down. A classic high-volatility outcome.
Bet on all numbers
I started my session with €100 and played with €0.20 chips. To cover everything, I used the Bet on All function. That meant every number on the wheel had a small stake. Most spins gave me small returns, but the balance kept going down.
Then, on one spin, lightning struck. One of my covered numbers got a 500x multiplier. The ball dropped right on it. My small €0.20 bet paid €100, bringing my bankroll back from near bankruptcy. It felt like a miracle hit that saved the session.

What’s My Opinion on XXXTreme Lightning Roulette?
This game is exactly my type of excitement. I love the fast swings, and the chance to hit those extreme multipliers gives me a huge thrill every round. The action feels intense, and when the lightning strikes your number, the rush is incredible.
But I also know this game can be dangerous for players who struggle with control. The big wins look tempting, and the fast pace makes it easy to lose track of your bets. If you play it, you really need to set limits and stick to them.
Overall, XXXTreme Lightning Roulette is a thrilling game with amazing potential, but you should approach it carefully and play responsibly.
Best suited for:
- Players who love high-volatility games and chase big multipliers up to ~2,000×.
- Roulette fans who enjoy classic betting options (straight-up, splits, outside bets) but want a more dramatic twist.
- High-rollers with a healthy bankroll who can absorb long stretches without major wins.
- Gamers who prefer short intense sessions rather than slow, steady play.
