What Is Live Baccarat Squeeze?
Baccarat Squeeze is Evolution‘s live baccarat game where the dealer reveals the cards slowly. The rules and payouts are the same as in standard baccarat. The only difference is how the cards are shown.
Instead of immediately turning over every card, the dealer slowly squeezes the most heavily backed hand, creating extra suspense before the card value becomes clear.
Which hand gets the squeeze depends on the total amount wagered. The dealer quickly reveals the cards belonging to the hand with the lower total wager and squeezes the cards of the hand with the higher total wager. If Player and Banker have attracted exactly the same amount, both hands are squeezed.
The dealer gradually exposes the cards using close-up cameras, with Evolution using more than 15 cameras to capture the squeeze from different angles. If a third card is required, this can also become part of the squeeze.
Player Pair and Banker Pair are available alongside the three main bets, while some tables offer additional side bets. The optional Red Envelope feature can also increase the payout on Tie, Player Pair or Banker Pair, with boosted payouts reaching up to 88x.
How to Play Baccarat Squeeze
Place your bet
Choose the coin value and decide what you want to play. You can bet on three main bets (Player, Banker, or Tie), or two side bets (Player Pair or Banker Pair). You have 20 seconds to decide before bets close.
The host deals cards
The live dealer draws two cards face down for the Player side and two cards for the Banker side. They check the statistics to see which side has fewer bets to learn which hand they’ll show you first. Both cards are revealed immediately.
Squeezing
When the live dealer reveals the first two cards, they squeeze the cards on the side where most players placed their bets. They flip over the first card, but the last one – the fourth card – is shown very slowly. They first reveal the edge of this card, and you can only see the suit, not the number. After a few moments, you’ll see the value, and you’ll know the winner.
Third card rule and the final squeeze
When the total score appears, the dealer may draw a third card. You don’t have to worry about this – there’s no math on your side. The dealer takes care of it. Again, the dealer will squeeze the final card in the hand with most bets.
Collect winnings
If your bet was correct and you’ve picked the side with a total closest to 9, or you’ve guessed a Tie or side bets, you receive a payout.

Since this is a regular baccarat, the paytable and RTP are the same as in any other standard Evolution baccarat version.
You can select one of three main bets, Player, Banker, or a Tie, and they pay as follows:

Side Bets in Baccarat Squeeze
Besides the standard Player, Banker, and Tie bets, Baccarat Squeeze also offers several optional side bets for players who want bigger payouts and more excitement.
Player Pair
The Player Pair bet wins if the Player’s first two cards form a pair, such as two Kings or two 8s.
This side bet pays 11:1.
Banker Pair
The Banker Pair works the same way. You win if the Banker’s first two cards are a pair.
This bet also pays 11:1.
Perfect Pair
Some casinos also enable the Perfect Pair side bet. This wins if the first two cards are identical in both value and suit.

Either Pair

Side bets offer much bigger payouts, but they are also more volatile and have a lower RTP than the standard Player or Banker bets.

Red Envelope Bonus

Don’t let the squeeze influence your next bet.
A dramatic reveal, winning streak, or close result does not make Player or Banker more likely to win the next hand. Each outcome is determined by the cards in the shoe.
Be careful with side bets.
Pair bets and other optional side bets offer much bigger payouts, but generally come with a considerably higher house edge. We prefer to keep these as small entertainment bets rather than the main part of our stake.
Use the slower pace to control your bankroll.
Baccarat Squeeze takes longer than standard baccarat because of the card reveal. For us, that is actually useful: fewer rounds per hour can mean less money wagered over the same playing time.
Don’t confuse suspense with strategy.
Which hand gets squeezed depends on the total amount wagered on Player and Banker. It doesn’t tell you anything about which hand is stronger, so there is no strategic advantage in following the hand selected for the squeeze.

The multiple camera angles are the strongest part of the presentation. Every movement of the cards is shown in detailed HD close-ups, making the squeeze easy to follow. However, we found the surrounding studio less impressive. Other live tables are visible and audible in the background, which takes away some of the exclusive atmosphere the game is trying to create.

Both games include squeezing; it’s obvious. But in Baccarat Control Squeeze, you’re controlling it, not the dealer.
Cards are also dealt face down, but the dealer places them on the glass panel inlays, designed specifically for this game. The cards are visible, but only partially, because optical filters and overlay masks cover them. When you click any corner of a card, you peel back the overlay, which lets you peek at the card.
Everything else, including bet types, payouts, and RTP, is identical in both games. So, if you prefer to squeeze and peek at cards yourself, choose this version.
Baccarat Squeeze vs Peek Baccarat
Evolution has another thrilling baccarat variant that also lets you peek at cards: Peek Baccarat. The rules are the same as in standard baccarat, but in this game, you can peek at one, two, three, or even all four cards during live action. If the cards you see look promising, you can choose to increase your wager. The expanding betting grid allows you to double or triple your initial bet during gameplay.

What’s My Opinion on Prosperity Tree Baccarat?
I like the idea behind Baccarat Squeeze. Regular baccarat can feel a little quick and repetitive, and slowly revealing the important cards adds some welcome suspense. The multiple close-up cameras work especially well, and I was surprised by how easy the squeeze was to follow on mobile.
However, the experience didn’t completely convince me. The dealers did their job well, but the squeeze itself didn’t feel as natural as when an experienced baccarat player squeezes the cards at a physical table. That matters because this ritual is supposed to be the main attraction.
I was also a little disappointed by the studio. It looks professional, but you can see and hear other table games in the background. For a game built around creating tension and atmosphere, I expected something more exclusive.
Technically, I have very little to complain about. Both of my test sessions ran smoothly without delays, although two sessions are obviously a small sample. Overall, I enjoyed Baccarat Squeeze, but for me it is more of an interesting alternative to regular baccarat than a must-play version.
Expert View: The biggest strength of Baccarat Squeeze is that it adds suspense without sacrificing the excellent 98.94% optimal RTP of standard baccarat. The camera production and mobile experience are excellent, but the studio and dealer-performed squeeze don’t quite deliver the premium atmosphere I expected. Our 7.6/10 score feels fair: technically strong and mathematically excellent, but the main feature is not quite special enough to lift the game into the top tier.
