Football commentary is supposed to be one of the features that separates Football Studio from a standard high-card game. Evolution presents the dealers as sports commentator-style hosts who can discuss live matches and football news while dealing the cards.
During our test sessions, however, we did not hear any football commentary. There did not appear to be a major live match taking place at the time, which may explain the lack of football discussion. The dealers were still enthusiastic and active in chat, but without the football conversation, the experience felt much closer to a regular live card game.
We therefore think the football atmosphere may depend quite heavily on when you play.
Live Chat
Live chat is an important part of Football Studio because it allows players to interact directly with the dealer. In theory, the football theme also creates an obvious subject for conversation, especially when major matches are being played.
During our test sessions, the dealers were friendly, enthusiastic, and responsive in chat. Questions and comments from players received attention, which helped create a more social atmosphere around an otherwise very simple card game.

Prefer Home or Away for the Best RTP
From a mathematical perspective, Home and Away are clearly the strongest bets. Both have an RTP of 96.27%, compared with only 89.64% for Draw.
There is no mathematical advantage to choosing Home over Away or vice versa, so simply pick either side. Previous results do not change the odds of the next round.
Be Careful With the Draw Bet
The 11:1 payout makes Draw look attractive, but it comes at a considerable price. Its 89.64% RTP means a house edge of 10.36%, compared with only 3.73% on Home and Away.
