The software provider’s latest venture with baccarat variants is Prosperity Tree Baccarat. The game adds several multiplier cards every round, giving you solid odds of drawing one and possibly enjoying a boosted payout. Will this title be able to win players over? Keep reading to find out.

Prosperity Tree Baccarat 101

The game uses standard baccarat rules and eight 52-card decks. The goal of the title is to predict whether the player or banker position will win. The winner is determined by which side is closest or equal to 9. You can also bet there will be no winner, and the round will end in a tie.

After betting finishes, the game will randomly pick eight cards and make them into Prosperity Cards, adding multipliers to them. Each multiplier can have a 2x or 3x value. From there, the round will proceed as usual. The host will deal two or three cards based on the value of the two initial cards, adhering to standard baccarat rules. Any multiplier cards will be highlighted in gold.

The host will compare the value of both hands to determine the winner. If the winning hand has a Prosperity Card, the prize will be multiplied accordingly. If a hand holds multiple Prosperity Cards, the multipliers will multiply each other and then the reward.

Prosperity Tree Baccarat Side Bets & Payouts

Along with the multiplier, Prosperity Tree Baccarat has two side bets players can take advantage of: Player Pair and Banker Pair. They will be familiar to any fan of live casino baccarat, and Evolution made no changes to how they work here. The first pays if the first two cards dealt to the Player constitute a pair. Banker Pair works the same way, except it requires a pair to appear on the Banker’s side.

Player or Banker wins are 1:1 without a multiplier and can increase to 27:1 if all three cards are Prosperity Cards. However, the real star of the show is the Tie bet. It usually pays 5:1 but can increase to 3,645:1 if all six participating cards are multiplied. Finally, both Player and Banker Pair side bets pay from 10:1 to 90:1.

Conclusion

Evolution doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel with Prosperity Tree Baccarat. In many ways, the game reminds us of XXXTreme Lightning Baccarat, except it’s less volatile. This title also has much better visuals, with falling golden leaves revealing Prosperity Cards. If you enjoy baccarat but feel the payouts are lacking, this Evolution title will be right up your street. We wholeheartedly recommend giving it a try if this release caught your interest during our review.
